When I was injured on the job, a few years ago, I needed money for food and bills. If it werent for my personal injury attorney, I would have had to take out a loan or declare bankruptcy. New York is an expensive place to live, and losing your income is devastating.

This kind of focus is important in law. While justice is important, you cant get justice if you dont win. Winning is simply a means to an end.

I dont like the idea of justice taking a backseat to winning. Of course its his job, as a personal injury attorney, to win, but justice should always be the 1st concern and It seems that he cares about this.
