@CMac1980z you'd be pushing a much bigger gear with a 23 on the back, so you're actually 'grinding' more. if you want to up your cadence and 'spin' more, us a compact set-up like a 50/34 with 12/25 or even 27 on the back. Mike (in the video) rides this set-up.

Question. I have 53/39 up front and 12/27 in the back. Would going to a 12/23 in the back drastically reduce grind time on steeps?

@cyclefilm Don't a lot of pros use 53/39 and 12/28? Going from a 12/25 to a 12/28 is just cheaper for me. Thanks a ton! GREAT VIDS
