Shannon shining right there! What a piece of work. I was at work, just starting the day prepping the slopes for the upcoming ski season when a friend turned the radio up to hear the news. Our world came to an abrupt halt. I still to this day feel left hanging. So much talent unleashed. Thankful for what was.

I hate when somebody say that Blind melon it's a "one hit wonder" band... Such an ignorant comment! First time i heard "No rain" i said "I WANT MORE!!" And i discovered amazing songs like...the rest of the songs because they're all AMAZING!!!

@1982elenita I agree. I was born in 93 so I was barely alive when they were doing their thing. Last year and this year too I had developed an interest in older music. So anything that I heard that had that 60's vibe I checked it out. I heard blind melon and I thought they were an older band. I played no rain repeatedly. It was like being caught in this whole new world and I had to hear more. Amazing band I love them.
What an amazing person. What an inspiration. simply put he didn't suffer for nothing. he is obviously fucked up in these videos. yet I love this. I love his work. And he influences me so much.
