please update again as you figure it out. That's very helpful diagnosis and troubleshooting information. Thanks for keeping us informed! I for one, really want to know what it is!
@xjgseven We changed the CCT to manual and nothing, so we decided to check the distribution chain and it was in good shape, so we are tearing apart the cylinder head to check it, i also have lack of power so it could be the something in there.
@kumpevad Most likely the timing chain. If it's stretched, then you will loose power as the valve timing will be upset by several degrees which is enough to upset the lead, lag and overlap and hence the poor running. I have had this problem with a ZZR250 and a Z250 and the timing chain was at fault.
@kumpevad Check the simple things first. Check the exhaust for any blows as this can reduce power. Do a block test to make sure the head gasket isn't blowing. Check for any split breather hoses and induction leaks. These simple checks could prevent you from spending large sums of money when there is no need. It sounds like you have an induction leak, but can't say for sure. Just a matter of checking and eliminating. Remember think simple first.
Hi - did you find out what this was? I think I have the same problem so would love to hear the result.

Possible exhaust leak as it would sound like that. Loosen and retight all the header bolts.

If it was me, I'd look at the cam chain tensioner, then clean & sync carbs and see how it sounds. :)
