Ya know, I agree with many of these comments. It could have been staged, but the guys cheesed off 'oh is that it' face said it all. It takes a clever guy to fail, in a finale, on live TV and just say 'one out' it just goes to show he can screw up like all of us.

the bad signal camera thing looks fake and done in post production..and it conviniently happens before and after the stunt..not during. and the signal dies when expected to die, just after the stunt fails and derren says his last words .also thats the quietest casino or what? .and the end seems so rehersed.. camera zooming out, perfect time to say about the money given back, whilst a check in the backround. derren tricking us into thinking he has powers and doesnt fix stunts

I was guessing that he could go wrong on this last one because it is such a high risk and it's his brain that's working it out; instead of just statistics. So I was pleased in a way because it proves to the non believers that he is actually a genius - I mean he was 1 off! And the guy outside with the cheque at the end. hehe.

Thing is, the fact that he got it wrong makes it so much more believable than if he had got it right. I can't help but think that he got this wrong on purpose in order to show that all the 'events' were genuine.

Hard to tell if the whole casino place was fake?
- There is no "No more bets please" call which tends to be be said shortly before the ball drops
- No faces are exposed at all. Pretty hard to avoid when doing it live
- Although the picture breaks up the sound seems perfectly fine
Having said that, I did find the show highly entertaining and I was somewhat cacking myself during the gamble part
