It also mentions a time when the truth will lay in the streets. As in there is truth to be known, but a time will come when nobody will acknowledge it as true. @EdwardiusMcAndriez I am saying even if the creator communicated with human race, I really don't think the point giving a different religion name on every visit. We humans made that up. A miscommunication problem within human groups (due to geographical differences) caused this problem, and we want to create groups, discrimination on every human aspect. This is just one of them. God wouldn't do it to us.

I hold to beliefs derived from the teachings of certain prophets and teachers who I believe are legitimate in their representation of God's instructions and laws. Trying to paint whatever face onto God we like is foolish and dangerous. I'm sure some things have been lost in translation and time, but the bottom line I believe was made very clear to us.

I think god is a combination of a piece of beef jerky and the Egyptian deity Thoth. I believe he wants me to be happy and spread pomegranate juice throughout the earth and promote public displays of affection. By good I mean not what it is said to be told by any religion, just use your brain, and you will find what is good and what is bad. The best gift we have from God is our brains, the important thing is to use it well without any distraction. Well this whole subject is hard to put in one paragraph. I believe in flexible thinking of any possibility not one "truth"

@mikeNayt Have you examined religious writings and thought much about what they say? The writings I dwell most on have said that God preserves his word. It also mentions a time when the truth will lay in the streets. As in there is truth to be known, but a time will come when nobody will acknowledge it as true. You should at least examine the Christian Bible, so that you can think about exactly what you are disagreeing with.

@mikeNayt I am actually examining a book of the Jewish Talmud right now. It is merely a vast collection of the thoughts of many Rabbis. It is not from the divine creator. Reading the Bible took me a year reading 3 - 5 chapters a night. I know we don't have time to examine everything. You can sit happily pondering away, but I assure you reality doesn't bend to the whim of us humans. There are more forces at work than mere humanity and God almighty. Deceivers are hard at work.
