i pushed my stock turbo to 18 psi, ran 13 flat on street tires with no further modifications, and blew the engine.so yes, you can make way more than 244 hp with the stock turbo.But at what price? LOL
i own one just replace the stock air cleaner to get 20 more hp they really need 94 octane fuel .Mitsu makes a soleniod valve that bleeds off 2psi to waste g (on Evos ) with a switch on the gas ( a cheap power boost ) cut off 3-4 inches on the frt springs & loose that tail squat on accel & p235 zr16 on rear 1 time had mine to 143mph which should be 155mph & still had some left the drivers seat is 70 lbs swapped out I was a nissan tech 77-87
@jakfolisto Ya, it comes with a T3 until 1988 and 1988 and up is a t25 with even lower boost. like 5lbs i think with the t25 and 8 or 9 with the t3. Could be wrong tho.
Even though I really think the Z31s are more big GT comfy than performance, and I drove one for seven years, I gotta say, you give this poor car HELL, boy! You are not fvcking around with this thing. You got this out on the track in front of people (presumably) bobbin' up and down between gears like a 25-cent pony ride outside the IGA, and against an SRT-4 no less!! Just awesome. Thanks for posting a great video. Keep the foot to the floor.
It's a Blitz SS BOV with the 2nd open type head attachment (the alternative is a filter head). Can't quite see how he's mounted it... but it's right next to the intake, where it's supposed to be.
lol hells yeah! i have an 84 300zx ae. sort of done the same mods as u. just 11psi, street tires, hollowed out cat and left the rest of the exhaust off. hks knock off bov :) and removed the pop off valve. i raced a 94 lt1 z28 camaro 6spd and beat him :)he went to the track and ran a 13.8

@kraden18 The Z31 300zx doesn't because the stock psi is fairly low; therefore it doesn't need an intercooler.

yeah a new fuel pump, injectors, Intercooler and a bigger turbo will get you 350 at the tires cake.
