Pet ownership is pretty weird. Dogs were bred to be used as animal slaves for labor purposes, not be "buddies." What joy do people get really get from tying up an animal and walking around with it every day. What the fuck...
Call The HSUS and ask were all your hard earned money goes... I mean it's hard to believe there CEO is fucking rich now huh? Call and ask them were the money goes, you'll get hung up on, OR you'll be told some random bullshit.. BUT don't start fighting UNTIL you do some damn research.
EVERY dislike on here is from someone who has NO idea what the HSUS actually does. Why not going listen to the debate they just had about the python ban? Wether you like it or not, you people are defending them and don't know shit. MY LOCAL society takes in almost 2,000 animals a year and gets denied at EVERY request they send in for help, they were even once told "Sorry, we don't support Humane Societies of your size" Now that's some fucking Bullshit.. Why don't you guys CALL the HSUS?
@Zeion97 No, some people do know...and agree with HSUS. Make no mistake about it, there are a contingent of people out there who want to end animal agriculture, pet ownership, and hunting, and they aren't all employed by HSUS or PETA. They do have REAL supporters who know what they are, and still support them. Messages like this are aimed at reaching those who have been duped...which is a LOT of people...but there's still going to be opposition.
Take a look at the budget they have, then look at where it goes. A lot is WAGES,TRAVEL, entertainment, and other things I'm sure the animals could care less about. Then, just for fun, look at the number of animals that are euthanized by these people, and add in PETA's numbers as well. See, its euthanized when these hypocrites do it, but murder???? when a farmer or legitmate hunter does the same. Peta has been forced to admit their kill #s. Still wanna send that donation to these people?
Just go to consumer freedom.org and you can see the fraud that is being done by the HSUS. Isn't it wonderful of the lavish lifestyle of its president Wayne Pacelle while shelters have too beg and borrow to feed the animals in their care. AND....they employ ex felons who love to try to violate your constitutional rights....like John Goodwin the famous eco-terrorist.
btw The HSUS does NOT run shelters! They work at legislation, disaster relief all over the world for the animals, fighting cruelty ALL over the world through political pressure and exposure.. and they are BOOTS on the ground at ever tornado, flood, hurricane, fire and earthquake. Humane Watch on the other hand, whom you are quoting.. is funded (look it up, it is documented) by factory farms, puppy millers, and laboratories.. They are a front group that lobbies against all animal welfare laws!
@nanci00 So you think it is sane to put ads on your website soliciting donations to help care for animals you are planning on killing? During the Mike Vick case, HSUS was asking for donations to help care for Mike Vick's dogs...even though they didn't have custody of them and stated they should be KILLED. They also forced foster homes to return puppies taken during a raid in Wilkes County so they could kill them.
HSUS does not run a single animal shelter, of the 131 million raised in 2010 only 527,566, or 0.4 percent went to any shelter nationwide while $32 million in hedge funds.
As local shelters struggle to keep their doors open, HSUS is raising millions of dollars a month from unwitting donors to bankroll an animal rights agenda and fund a huge staff of lawyers and lobbyists, a bloated executive pension plan, and exorbitant fundraising expenses
@MrFederalistPapers I cannot believe that some of the supporters of HSUS refuse to check them out. I don't suggest they believe everything this video states, but educating themselves would be a good idea, before saying this is all BS, and HSUS are just short of being saints. Look at the money they spend on wages! Crap!!! Wonder if they are hiring?
HumaneWatch Lie #7: The Humane Society of the United States wants to outlaw meat eating and turn the world vegan.
The Truth: HSUS endorses "Certified Humane" meat and wolfgang puck's 9 point plan. Menu choices reduce the suffering of factory farm animals and the impact on the environment.
This is not true. When Irene hit the Humane Society was right there setting up rescue area's. When the storms hit out west we were there. We take the money and use it to feed, rescue, set up areas for pets after storms. Use for helping dogs and cats all animals in need. I think your mad and want to put the HSUS down it is nothing but good and working endless to save the Wild Horses and Burro's you have no idea really what goes on out there millions is spent fighting puppy mills,
@idioidioteque:" We have no ethical obligation to preserve the different breeds of livestock produced through selective breeding ...One generation and out. We have no problems with the extinction of domestic animals. They are creations of human selective breeding." - Animal People News, May 1993 Clearly NOT an "ass-pull".
And now peta wants to create a website mixing porn with images of animal cruelty. brilliant. These organizations need close scrutiny & maybe some CEO's & high level execs need some jail time. Why the hell isn't Wayne Pacelle being audited by the IRS??? WTF??????
This video is misleading. is PETA wanna ban pet ownership NOT HSUS.
{Quote]The difference between PETA & the HSUS is that PETA targets the companies that abuse animals while HSUS promotes legislation to end the abuse...
As for pet owner ship, both are against irresponsible pet owners (those who abuse their pets or give them up for whatever reason)... now, PETA has come out & said that nobody should own pets, but many PETA members do... I haven't heard anything from the HSUS{end quote}
To those who have supported "back yard" breeding - have you looked at any of the videos of how these "beloved" animals are housed (if they even have a roof) or treated. You are either part of the problem (my bet) or too dumb to be believed. Legitimate breeders of dogs & cats welcome the actions of these organizations because they not only protect the animals they truly love, but protect the continuity & viability of the breeds.
The HSUS & ASPCA spend millions every year fighting puppy mills, dog & cock fighting rings & other disgusting & despicable groups who prey on helpless animals & the unsuspecting public. Just as animal abuse has become big business, so animal rescue & safety have had to follow suit. Not to mention the responses to disasters around the world. There is no "dark side" to these organizations, but evil people are losing money and they don't like it! So they lie to the gullible & play sad music. EVIL!!
This is posted by owners of a Missouri Puppy Mill, whose living depends on the abuse and torture of dogs for their own profit. NEVER BUY A PUPPY FROM A PET STORE OR OVER THE INTERNET OR FROM A SIGN IN SOMEONE"S YARD> IF YOU DO YOU ARE CONTRIBUTING TO THE SUFFERING OF THE PUPPY MILL DOGS
@dilbertron2, exactly! When one sees this sort of anti-HSUS propaganda, one must look at the source of such disinformation. The video poster is a puppy miller whose disgusting livelihood depends on caging dogs in crates the size of their body for their entire miserably short lives, force breeding them, and selling their puppies for profit. Period.
The HSUS's actions speak louder than the puppy millers' lies. We will shut them down!
Before you believe this, get the facts about puppy mills and puppy mill dogs. PLEASE! I have fostered ones that are puppy mill products, through my local WHS. They have covered the medical expenses and I have had to train year old dogs how to walk more than three steps (the size of their cages). MO is a hotbed of puppy mill debate now and yes, that is what is behind this video.
Why don't you Google Pacelle and HSUS, check their Financial statements etc, before making STUPID statements and acting like fools?? HSUS is a ripoff outfit... Research.... then comment!
It looks like the Puppy mill breeders from MO made this video! If you are the ones that shouldn't own animals, then I thoroughly agree! You're trying it make it sound like everyone is just like you, I sure hope not!
Also-YES THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY MAKING IT MORE EXPENSIVE TO BREED!!! then only the good breeders who are willing to spend the money will be breeding, and not the backyard breeders looking to make a quick buck.Outlaw backyard breeding becase it is adding to the millions of euthanizations every year of our furry friends!
You can make a video with a bunch of statements in it, but until you show me evidence of these statements, I consider you an extremist trying to tear down an organization that does SO MUCH for animals. Go to the hsus channel and look at how many Puppy mills have been shut down(thank GOD) THIS is where our money is going and as long as they are helping animals and standing up for animal welfare I support them!
HSUS ties are to the Camorra is a criminal organization and secret society, originating in Naples. It is the oldest and largest criminal organizations in Italy, it was started in 18th century. Al Capone was from Brooklyn & his parents were from Castellammare di stabia, this Chicago mob crew is with the HSUS. Two of New York families are in with them also, and money still goes back to Naples, this is all about the NWO.
I am so glad someone is taking time to get the real truth out. True dog breeders spend 16 hours a day 7 days a week with their animals. you dont dedicate that much time if you do not love your dogs.
More people should educate themselves about them for sure....its amazing the fraud and titles this terrible organization has been able to hide behind for so long.
Spray-On-Tan Wayne Pacelle is nothing more than a modern day Hitler for animals. Please NEVER donate to HSUS! Donate to your local humane society. Being a vegan is a choice! It should not be dictated by the HSUS and their pro-vegan America agenda. Look at the HSUS IRS tax returns and get the facts. They are available on the HSUS web site. They are PETA in suits, hire ex-ALF and PETA members, what else do you need?
@57Giovanna look at their bank statements and i have been around dogs my whole life and have never seen a licensed kennel look like the picture hsus show
@57Giovanna DUPLICATE: For years HSUS has used its massive budget not for shelters and programs to help animals, but for lobbying for anti-agricultural legislation. You don't need to take my word for this, and for that you're absolutely correct. Please reference the HSUS tax statements (which are not properly audited...yet) and their own statements regarding practices used on family farms to promote the welfare of farm animals. Thank you for your time.
Where are you getting your facts from? I can't believe people agree without you citing legitimate sources. How do I know you're not pulling this out of your ass, or heard it from someone else who pulled it out of their ass?
@idioidioteque Check the HSUS financial reports, that's where you will find facts. that's where you will see that only 1/2 of a percent of peoples money that they send actually helps animals. thats 1 cent out of the roughly $20 that they send monthly if they were touched by those manipulative sad little puppy commercials.
@idioidioteque For years HSUS has used its massive budget not for shelters and programs to help animals, but for lobbying for anti-agricultural legislation. You don't need to take my word for this, and for that you're absolutely correct. Please reference the HSUS tax statements (which are not properly audited...yet) and their own statements regarding practices used on family farms to promote the welfare of farm animals. @idioidioteque I have seen several speeches by Wayne Pacelle where he openly states his opposition to pet ownership, the One Generation and Out comment. You wont hear that outside of big private fund raising events. The comments from PETA havee also been made in public. All such comments are almost always taken on hidden camera as HSUS wont allow the media into their Invite Only Fundraisers. PETA has also been caught lying about famous actors being members
I think that it should be harder to have a pet. They are a big responsibility. Too many people run out and get a cute kitten or puppy then it grows up and gets thrown in the back yard or let to roam the world. Never gets spayed or neutered. Tied up in the yard on a short chain. Why should those people have a pet? Because it's their right? Don't those animals have rights too? I mean, who keeps a freakking dog in it's crate for it's whole life? Just so they can make a buck. That is sick.
wait a second if the hsus doesnt help animals how come theyre stopping idiots in MO that own puppy mills????? fucking moron get ur facts straight next time
@ryno212121 , No kidding. They also helped with Hurricane Katrina. They helped rescue horses in Nebraska. They aren't against people having pets. They just want people who have pets to be responsible for them.
Ha! MISSOURI. It figures. Of course you're afraid of HSUS - they're exposing your filthy and cruel puppy mills. You should be ashamed of yourself. Why don't you tell it like it really is?
Individuals fail to realize that for several individuals, responsibly raising purbred dogs is the livelyhood for many and they love what they do. For some disabled individuals who cannot handle a 9 to 5 job--this is their life and their only source of income. It is actually more labor intensive than a 9-5 job--and many never take vacations for themselves--they are with their animals 24-7 day in and day out. It is a passion for them. Radicals fail to see this.
@KnowledgeisPower2011 , that isn't true. It's the fact that these people who raise puppies like this keep them if fucking crates and can't even keep those clean. If they can't work a regular job they have no business raising animals. Like you said, it's extremely labor intensive. It might be a passion for them but keeping them clean and healthy should also be a passion...you know...since that is how they are earning their living.
Out of respect and responsibility for their actions--ALL Voters who were so adamant about Voting YES need to contact some of the dog breeders and offer to adopt the many adults/puppies that will be relinquished as a result of this. Animals that already have clean warm beds food & water who will be gotten rid of. Shelters won't take on this many dogs and will not be able to properly care for them. Congrats guys--you sentenced many helpless animals to death or worse!
A big Thank you! to everyone who got out and voted against this Money and Power hungry giant! Almost 1 million people spoke out against this--that is a lot guys! AND WE DON'T EVEN HAVE RICH CELEBRITIES BACKING US!!!! Great work! The fight is far from over--lets stick together and continue to educate everyone on the HSUS and their deceptive ways. By all means--donate to your local shelters and HS--but don't let this animal extremist see another cent!
Under Prop B, responsible breeders will no longer be allowed to buy & administer their own shots/meds. Necessary shots are already costly--but the law would require breeders to load up all their puppies and travel to the vet for EVERY necessary shot/med--exposing young unprotected puppies to needless travel and diseases at the vet clinics. Many vets charge an office call per visit--more needless expenses for reputable breeders already struggling to provide quality puppies at an affordable price
@KnowledgeisPower2011 , if they can't afford the shots then they shouldn't have the dog. The reason breeders should not be adminstering their own shots is because too many are saying they did give them and they don't. Or they using expired stuff. And actually, if it's a legit breeder they wouldn't be breeding so many that they couldn't afford all the care that is involved in breeding any animal. If you can't afford it then DON'T DO IT. Plain and simple.
HSUS is good at using emotional propaganda to get control of what they want-without consideration for the little folk who are busting their butts behind the scene. They have NO CONCEPT of what responsible breeders go through on a daily basis & what it takes to maintain a kennel--but yet they sit in their high dollar offices and make up a complex set of rules and regulations that support no one and fixes no problem. Resp. breeders get punished with more work, rules, expense and HSUS get control.
MISSOURI VOTERS--Here is your chance to fight back! Nov is coming and we need your Vote! Let's tell the HSUS where it can shove it's law and regulations in Prop B!
Hunters, farmers, pet owners---not just responsible breeders should be VERY concerned. We have the Power to change our future! I value my rights! Do You? Say NO to Large Corporations running America! Vote NO on Prop B!
Ever heard of WSPA? They're owned by HSUS and HSI. They want to end animals in entertainment, pet ownership and food. In fact, I head the WSPA rejected a donation from food industries that include meat and dairy. How messed up is that?
HSUS is not welcome at my table, neither is PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), or (ELF) Earth Liberation Front or (ALF) the Animal Liberation Front.
Vote Yes on prop B. The regulations are not being decreased! Why would it do that? Use your brain. Try looking at wiki for a more non-biased view of the HSUS and see all the great things they have done.
@JJJJview07 Do you think the agricultural industry doesn't need any more requirements? In most states, hens are allowed to be kept in extreme confinement. There needs to be reform in our agricultural industry and factory farming shouldn't be allowed.
And these quotes are missleading if you red what peta actually has to say about pets you'll no that they support them, and want them to be as comfortable as possible. These quotes come fromt ehm talking about how it may of orignally been better for dogs if we never domesticated them but now that they are domesticated it would be awfull to stop having them as pets!
And these quotes are missleading if you red what peta actually has to say about pets you'll no that they support them, and want them to be as comfortable as possible. All your interested in is money. All you want is to exploit animals and make money off of them. The HSUS isn't trying to stop people from having pets. In fact most members have pets themselves! The dogs The HSUS has rescued from abusive puppy mills have gone to peoples homes. So they can be loved and cared for, lot's of dogs at puppy mills are bred excesivley, cramped into puny cages. The temperatures aren't regulated, and aren't given love and attention. THe HSUS is helping pets! VOTE YES!
@Ephesians6now You're right.. It is my fault for shooting from the hip.. I walked into the lions' den, not you. It's an emotionally infused issue for me after visiting full shelters. The thing is, 5 million to 7 million companion animals enter animal shelters nationwide every year.. Six out of ten dogs in shelters and seven out of ten cats in shelters are destroyed simply because there is no one to adopt them. I'm not against **humane** breeders in the least. But the bill isn't about that.
This video is full of blatant lies. HSUS does not want to end ownership of your beloved pets, they want to end abuse. Problem is there are those for abuse like the people that produced this video. There are people that view puppies just for their dollar value and it doesn't matter their mother has sarcoptic mange, fleas, ear mites, worms, eye infections and worse. It;s ok for live puppies to be in cages with dead ones. I've seen this and this is what the video is actually promoting.
"Proposition B is not about helping animals. It is about eliminating an already regulated industry and laying the necessary groundwork to severely restrict livestock production in our state."
Anyone who knows me knows that I don't typically swear, but this is fucking bullshit. A bunch of fucking ad hominems to defend utterly deplorable acts under the guise of fear and hate. Puppy mills are, for lack of a more potent word, HORRIBLE. The act of defending them requires an inexcusable level of ignorance (or heartlessness).
@themandikat NO ONE IS DEFENDING THEM!!! it is ignorant voters like you that are leading our country to ruin! Do some research, become informed before you make assumptions. Proposition B is for LICENSED breeders ONLY! it does not affect unlicensed breeders! If people would use intelligence and facts instead of strictly emotions they would realize no one wants bad breeders gone MORE than reputable breeders! PROPOSTION B DOES NOT AFFECT UNLICENSED OR UN-INSPECTED BREEDERS!!!
OKAY YOU ARE COMPALINING THAT THE USHS IS FOR PROFIT AND HAS OTHER AGENDAS....... THEY LOVE DOGS AND ANIMALS JUST AS MUCH AS OTHER PEOPLE.... THEIR ENTIRE ORANGIZATION IS FOR THE WELFARE OF THE DOGS....WHY WOULD THEY REMOVE THEM FROM OUR LIVES.. THEIR AGRENDA WOULD SUFFER TOO...THEY JUST DONT WANT PEOPLE TO USE THEM AS MONEY AND TREAT THEM AS INCOME ONLY... THEY CARE FOR THE DOGS... AND HATE THE CAGES THESE PEOPLE ARE PUTTING THEM IN....
Down with the HSUS! They don't care about animals! They are just another organization developed for creating revenue and making the CEO's pockets larger. They use pets as a shield to hide behind what their goals truly are.
If the HSUS is "so good" then why dont they spend the money/donations they beg for on thier videos/camercials on these poor animals. They are padding thier personal pockets at the animals expense. HSUS needs to give the money to the LOCAL SHELTERS & stop missleading the caring people who think thier money is going to feed, shelter & provide meds for these mistreated animals. The HSUS wants to control weather or not ANYONE ownes an animal. NOT RIGHT. STOP SUPPORTING HSUS!
New CA ordinances would double the 'license' to breed a litter, so that it's hundreds of dollars a year to have a show dog and breed one litter. SB250, just defeated, would have meant that 2 infractions (walking your dog on a 6 foot leash or your dog not wearing tags) and all of your dogs are spayed and neutered. This agenda is to make animal care expensive on the way to driving pets to extinction. No rodeos, no pets, no meat. Get it. Animal rights means NO pets.
It is always sad that laws have to be passed for so many people to do the right thing when they are perfectly cabable of doing it right in the first place yet do not choose to. But when a person's choices involve the suffering of a living thing, it becomes a battle of your right vs theirs.
Please check this issue out for yourselves. Good and proper pet owners do not need to fear this change, and myself and thousands of others that want only the best for the animals support this change. This change will mean that a man cannot breed his dog just because he feels like it. It will mean a person cannot call chaining a dog up in the backyard "pet ownership" This change will stop animal hoarding.
@JJJJview07 all together? of course not, because no matter what the law is people will break it, no matter how common sense oriented a choice is, someone will screw up, no it won't stop it all together but it will be fought harder then it is currently.
Also, I want to keep this civil and am speaking to only make people aware of the truth. Yes the HSUS is fighting to make owning a pet more difficult. It is hoped that in the next few years, pet ownership will require a license, this is to cut down on backyard breeders, dogfighting, puppymills, animal hoarding, and other animal cruelty cases. The HSUS is trying to make it so you have to give your dog vet care and food. You have to shelter your dog. Is that so bad?
This video is an extreme opinion. The HSUS helps pass laws and regulations for animals, they do not actually go and pick them up off the road side like small groups do, and adopt them out. They are incharge of doing the more difficult tasks of passing laws, and fighting large scale problems through awarness and education of the public.
go to hsussucks . com and read the article The Mob , HSUS, and The Black Egg. Read how nearly all legislation via Animal Rights orgs are part of a racketeering scheme and artifice. Rogue Humane Societies raid both breeders and rescue to steal their product. HSUS intends to get a pieceof the action from this new "industry"& to control Ag in order to get "a piece of the action" via "protectionism racket" aka Humanely Raised labels... The FBI knows it so where is the Dept of Justice? Taking bribes.
Youtube has shut off the counter on this video! They had 23,000 hits in the first week and then had to reload it due to some reason and the view number reset to zero and stopped counting after 2 days. Is this bias on the part of You tube? A web site in CA imbedded this video in May and has over 70,000 views.
Thanks for posting this! I found it via a billboard in downtown L.A. about beware of pet radicals and I AGREE. If you spay and neuter every animal they will be an endangered species. I simply HATE the idea that someone is telling me to do this to my pet!
Yea!!!! Oklahoma, second only to Missouri in puppy mills, passed the puppy mill bill into law last week! The breeders LOST!! Don't compare the Humane Society to PETA they are not the same nor have the same agenda! I guess Oklahomans were a bit smarter then the propaganda pushers!!
@4dogsandchick Humane society and peta have the same agenda.
Show me how they are different, please. The reputable breeders in Oklahome didn't lose anything at all. They will still be able to sell the dogs they raise. They will be able to comply with state standards because they are ALREADY complying with USDA standards. Good breeders take care of their dogs, and don't need laws to make them do this. The bad ones will be weeded out, which will allow the good ones to prosper even more!!
These are facts or quotes from Wayne Pacelli himself. The State of Missouri has excellent laws overseeing dog breeding and 99% of the breeders comply...it is their best interest and the interests of their business to protect their product! HSUS is using "emotion" to catch all of you that know nothing about MO law and nothing about dog breeding and convince you to back their agenda which is to eliminate domesticated animals (Pacelli's own words) and eliminate American livestock.
This is a propaganda piece by dog breeders in Missouri who do not like legislation proposed by the Humane Society that would require more humane conditions for dogs bred by breeders. (ie. adequate space to turn around and stretch their limbs, adequate housing, protection from the elements, regular exercise, and necessary veterinary). Nothing in it addresses their actual grievances with the Puppy Mill Cruelty Prevention Act that is up for a vote. Shameful distortion.
@kirsten99 The propaganda is coming from places like the Humane Society, and they will not stop until they have eliminated all animal ownership. It is not even acceptable for YOU to raise a dog in their mission goals. Their goal is complete elimination of all domestic animals for any reason. This is just a step in the process.
@rovey0 That's exactly what I thought. The puppymillers are fighting against any kind of regulations on how they breed and treat their breeder dogs. HSUS is not trying to stop all breeding just the puppy mills, mass producing sick animals for the almighty buck!!. PETA and the HSUS are NOT the same thing not do they have the same agenda!! Get you facts straight!
@4dogsandchick There are regulations already in place for commercial breeders, in fact the USDA has strict rules regarding the regulation and compliance regarding the care, feeding, watering, housing, recordkeeping, medical care and even euthanizing. As I understand it, the state of Missouri has these kinds of laws in place and in effect too.
@beaelliott Go tell that to all the hundreds of millions of customers that eat meat at McDonalds,Burger King,Wendy's,Kentucky Fried Chicken,Arby's,etc. Come back and let me know how many you converted to a Vegan diet!
@rovey0 How many animal shelters does the HSUS operate again? How many(in numbers) animals have they helped per year and what is the ratio of dollars received in donations to dollars allocated to animal care(real animals, real care, like by a veterinarian) Please help me to see just how much HSUS really cares about the animals. I don't need to see how much they care about donations, fundraising or their pension plans.
HSUS wants abolition of all animal ownership. I don't care to think of a world with no animals in my life. I'm all in favor of Responsible animal ownership. I work with a shelter and see the results of irresponsible owners. That does need to be changed. But we do it locally through education. Thanks, but no thanks, HSUS, our shelter neither wants nor gets any help from the likes of you.
This is sad, as is the almost inescapable fact that when ever anybody makes donations to a large organization ( or emergency fund ) that a VERY small amount of it ever goes to what the ads are telling you it is going for.
It is terrible that animals and humans need suffer for the greed of those who want to stuff their pockets and get rich.
This video had a tremendous number of viewers but it went down unexpectedly. Will the counts return and the comments? This is the truth that the animal rights people don't want the world to see.
I think the ones who own and operate this channel took the video down and then re-uploaded it to free it of some really nasty trolls spouting out lies and offensive posts. Either that or youtube took it down because of the conduct of some posting in the comment section, which would be the first time I've heard of that happening.
@hellsunicorn The AR people had so many items that had been flagged along with the AR groups flagging the good comments trying to get them removed I believe caused the video to be removed. The MissouriFAC also had a problem with trying to attach their 2nd video that was released the next morning to this video so just pull it and repost it with both video's together seemed like a good idea.
This is not surprising, though I would personally assert that the Animal Rights people probably were the first ones to start flagging, as their "all emotion, zero logic" approach to conversing with other human beings is always on full display. Hopefully we will see less of that sort this time around.
Pet ownership is pretty weird. Dogs were bred to be used as animal slaves for labor purposes, not be "buddies." What joy do people get really get from tying up an animal and walking around with it every day. What the fuck...

nanci00 3 months ago

HSUS wants to ban cruel puppy mills and animal abuse.
NOT pet ownership.
They wanna ban ownership of ENDANGERED animals and exotic pets that are dangerous and or endangered.
Not pet ownership.
They wanna regulate to combat feral animal issues.
Not banning.
Regulating doesn't mean banning it means regulating.
is PETA wants to end pet ownership but many has pets like that woman or man says.
Anything from humanewatch are mass lies and slanderous BS from mass murderers "tobaccos companies"

This video is misleading. is PETA wanna ban pet ownership NOT HSUS.
{Quote]The difference between PETA & the HSUS is that PETA targets the companies that abuse animals while HSUS promotes legislation to end the abuse...
As for pet owner ship, both are against irresponsible pet owners (those who abuse their pets or give them up for whatever reason)... now, PETA has come out & said that nobody should own pets, but many PETA members do... I haven't heard anything from the HSUS{end quote}

StargazySkyeBarber 8 months ago
The HSUS & ASPCA spend millions every year fighting puppy mills, dog & cock fighting rings & other disgusting & despicable groups who prey on helpless animals & the unsuspecting public. Just as animal abuse has become big business, so animal rescue & safety have had to follow suit. Not to mention the responses to disasters around the world. There is no "dark side" to these organizations, but evil people are losing money and they don't like it! So they lie to the gullible & play sad music. EVIL!!

dilbertron2 8 months ago 2

KnowledgeisPower2011 1 year ago
@KnowledgeisPower2011 , that isn't true. It's the fact that these people who raise puppies like this keep them if fucking crates and can't even keep those clean. If they can't work a regular job they have no business raising animals. Like you said, it's extremely labor intensive. It might be a passion for them but keeping them clean and healthy should also be a passion...you know...since that is how they are earning their living.
TheMdolittle 1 year ago
@KnowledgeisPower2011 , if they can't work a 9 to 5 job then they shouldn't be raising animals. That is more strenuous than a 9 to 5 job. It's 24/7.

KnowledgeisPower2011 1 year ago
@KnowledgeisPower2011 , if they can't afford the shots then they shouldn't have the dog. The reason breeders should not be adminstering their own shots is because too many are saying they did give them and they don't. Or they using expired stuff. And actually, if it's a legit breeder they wouldn't be breeding so many that they couldn't afford all the care that is involved in breeding any animal. If you can't afford it then DON'T DO IT. Plain and simple.
TheMdolittle 1 year ago
HSUS is good at using emotional propaganda to get control of what they want-without consideration for the little folk who are busting their butts behind the scene. They have NO CONCEPT of what responsible breeders go through on a daily basis & what it takes to maintain a kennel--but yet they sit in their high dollar offices and make up a complex set of rules and regulations that support no one and fixes no problem. Resp. breeders get punished with more work, rules, expense and HSUS get control.

But when a person's choices involve the suffering of a living thing, it becomes a battle of your right vs theirs.
bpawskennels 1 year ago
Please check this issue out for yourselves. Good and proper pet owners do not need to fear this change, and myself and thousands of others that want only the best for the animals support this change. Is that so bad?
bpawskennels 1 year ago
This video is an extreme opinion. The HSUS helps pass laws and regulations for animals, they do not actually go and pick them up off the road side like small groups do, and adopt them out. They are incharge of doing the more difficult tasks of passing laws, and fighting large scale problems through awarness and education of the public.

This is whats happening with the Humane Society monies in our country. Not to help the animals but to line pockets of people in politics.
twisternumber 1 year ago
These are facts or quotes from Wayne Pacelli himself. The State of Missouri has excellent laws overseeing dog breeding and 99% of the breeders comply...it is their best interest and the interests of their business to protect their product! HSUS is using "emotion" to catch all of you that know nothing about MO law and nothing about dog breeding and convince you to back their agenda which is to eliminate domesticated animals (Pacelli's own words) and eliminate American livestock.
vbyoda 1 year ago 2
This is a propaganda piece by dog breeders in Missouri who do not like legislation proposed by the Humane Society that would require more humane conditions for dogs bred by breeders. (ie. adequate space to turn around and stretch their limbs, adequate housing, protection from the elements, regular exercise, and necessary veterinary). Nothing in it addresses their actual grievances with the Puppy Mill Cruelty Prevention Act that is up for a vote. Shameful distortion.
kirsten99 1 year ago
@kirsten99 The propaganda is coming from places like the Humane Society, and they will not stop until they have eliminated all animal ownership. It is not even acceptable for YOU to raise a dog in their mission goals. Their goal is complete elimination of all domestic animals for any reason. This is just a step in the process.

@kirsten99 Proposition B actually weakens the current Missouri regulations.
Why do YOU want to do that?
JJJJview07 1 year ago
@rovey0 That's exactly what I thought. The puppymillers are fighting against any kind of regulations on how they breed and treat their breeder dogs. HSUS is not trying to stop all breeding just the puppy mills, mass producing sick animals for the almighty buck!!. PETA and the HSUS are NOT the same thing not do they have the same agenda!! Get you facts straight!

@4dogsandchick How are they different? Please explain.
indianredhead 1 year ago
@4dogsandchick There are regulations already in place for commercial breeders, in fact the USDA has strict rules regarding the regulation and compliance regarding the care, feeding, watering, housing, recordkeeping, medical care and even euthanizing. As I understand it, the state of Missouri has these kinds of laws in place and in effect too.
Am I wrong?

abolishing pet ownership is just the beginning!
Wayne Pacelle said,"We are going to use the ballot and the democratic process to stop all hunting in the United States."
Quoted in interview published in the magazine titled,"Full Cry" Oct. 1991.

Thank you for reposting this video. It had almost 20,000 hits in a matter of DAYS before it was removed.
Youtube, please explain your actions for this, and do you now excercise a political or ideological agenda, because I thought you were non-partisan.

DrRosset 1 year ago
@DrRosset
I think the ones who own and operate this channel took the video down and then re-uploaded it to free it of some really nasty trolls spouting out lies and offensive posts. Either that or youtube took it down because of the conduct of some posting in the comment section, which would be the first time I've heard of that happening.
hellsunicorn 1 year ago
@hellsunicorn The AR people had so many items that had been flagged along with the AR groups flagging the good comments trying to get them removed I believe caused the video to be removed. The MissouriFAC also had a problem with trying to attach their 2nd video that was released the next morning to this video so just pull it and repost it with both video's together seemed like a good idea.

@TrickyRickyDawg
This is not surprising, though I would personally assert that the Animal Rights people probably were the first ones to start flagging, as their "all emotion, zero logic" approach to conversing with other human beings is always on full display. Hopefully we will see less of that sort this time around.
