I like how Adam was wrong on the difference between a democracy and a republic. A democracy is when the people vote on the laws, and a republic is when people vote for representatives to pass the laws, neither have anything to do with protecting the minorities. It is the constitution that protects minorities. The question would be, do you want a constitutional democracy/republic or just a basic democracy/republic?

I always feels bad for the people in these kind of interviews, just because you can tell they're real and genuine and know shit's wrong, and needs changing, and they really want to sound like they have it figured out, but their ignorance conquers them. Hopefully they learn from conversations like that though, that seeds are planted.
I don't think these are "gotcha" clips. Adam is one of the few people that actually spend time talking to the average uninformed person on the street. Most of the people watching these channels are much more awake to the terminology and ideals behind what Adam is saying. I think the videos are very reflective of just how programmed the public at large are by these vague concepts of how government works and all the rote buzzwords in the media.

I always feels bad for the people in these kind of interviews, just because you can tell they're real and genuine and know shit's wrong, and needs changing, and they really want to sound like they have it figured out, but their ignorance conquers them. Hopefully they learn from conversations like that though, that seeds are planted.

I don't think these are "gotcha" clips. Adam is one of the few people that actually spend time talking to the average uninformed person on the street. Most of the people watching these channels are much more awake to the terminology and ideals behind what Adam is saying. I think the videos are very reflective of just how programmed the public at large are by these vague concepts of how government works and all the rote buzzwords in the media.

Dear Adam, I watched EVERY show that you did on RT (I loved lots of it, especially the JT dance party). I have watched pretty much every youtube video that you have posted since then. That said, I am kinda tired of gotcha clips with stupid people. If I wanted to watch that I would watch Jay walking on the tonight show. I would also add that most Americans are uneducated when it comes to the economy and government simply because it's not a part of their required curriculum, including the high school level. There are many people who don't move on to college and have to rely on their high school learning. This is part of the problem since most high schools don't teach this kind of material. Even those who do go to college usually get a biased perspective when it comes to politics.

The jobs issue is abuse of the intent of the stock market. It has been a shifting of money from invester to those who can siphon it off with black box trading. Investments in stocks were meant to bolster startup companies so they can grow while spreading the risk among the investers.
