Remember being a 16yr old chav in Southport just about able to get Stu Allen on the radio before going off down Manhatten to do a pill (only needed the one back then) Happy days.
@SirBigSwingalot Yeahhhh... Stu Allen was the man, Key 103 on Thursday night to get the rush on fer the weekend... and yeah; 1 big fat pill kept me goin for about 8 hours.!!!
Aww thought this was a song I heard at Express at the mall. Sounds similar but the one I am looking for said "You are all I feel" many times over and I think it also said "wated you forever" something along those lines. It was definitely along the sound of this one. Anyone know what song I am talking about? If ya do let me know asap plz & ty! =)
Thank you thank you thank you thank you for uploading this. I havent heard this in a loooooonnnnnng time. Brings me back to the saturday night dance party's on Hot 97 NYC & Q102 in Philly.
who give a fucking monkeys what genre it is......all i know is that i used to get mad with it at the metro in salcoats to this....bringing it all back
thats what killed all this great music , and why we don't have it like we used to anymore, sticking tunes in catagories, giving them a tag "OH i think thats house" or no, maybe it's techno , or is it progressive hardbag " ??? -saaaad!. In the best days of dance nobody cared about all that, and it was all , sound ,fresh, underground, before the comercial system got hold of it, makes me laugh when i see people on here all the time saying "Oh i wish i could go back in time"!
The term 'trance' didnt exist when this was created! Believe it or not Strictly Rhythm were playing garage and they did remixes like this for the 'hardcore'... it was an absolute classic over Leeds/Manc/Blackburn/Northern Englandness...
anything connected to TODD TERRY ( MUSICALLY) is house music although this has a slight rave/technoish sound due to the time it was released 1992, house was being side lined for a more harder slightly faster sound...what is know as RAVE.
trance music is just shite...hasn't moved with the times. Main reason I stopped going out (that and having kids). This CLS tune was a floor filler at the Welly in Hull back in 91. The scene died when the music entered the charts and the Sun newspaper caught on to ecstasy culture.
whaha my god menn.... how said and short can people think everybody had godda... radio's in those thays and if a beat jacks yours body it will be with 80
I'm from Dublin aswel ha, i think this tune was just rockin everywhere..Or rockin all over the worls as one bunch of long haired balding bastards once put it
haha, i left that comment cos i was was listening to another tune at the time wich was italian house, n read a comment n posted that comment lol, anyway thought this was American Bass-line House
the problem is you can't catergorize it. not everything fits into a specific category. you just have to make yourself familiar with a large amount of music and choose what you like.
This is straight up house only problem is that, its ahead of its time this track came out like 92' or so but its classic house and i bump this shit in the club and bitches still dance

This aint trance. But like one person commented, its ahead of its time.
Almost a cross between rave and house.
That riff just screams Rave to be honest.
