  • i feel a lot of roots reggae and dub on this EP

    epic music !

  • I always had the impression that the disturbing image was based on the red eyed character on the right transmitting the sale of a room in a hideous high rise flat to the single family on the right, hence the reciprocated red eyes on the mother of the child. Profoundly disturbing to me, there is an undefinable shiver about the Killing Joke and their music which I love.

  • you either love or hate killing joke, but if they are one thing, its GENUINE. pure raw emotion, unabashed and daring, to me they epitomize punk rock.

  • Everyone has mixed feelings about Killing Joke.

But with real gems like 'Nervous System', its easy to see why John Peel & his audience had so much time for the early K.J. -around 1979-80 -& why the band built up a huge following so quickly.

  • I wonder who the couple on the left are... that little Girl must have grown up terrified of Mr. Punch.

  • so ahead of it's time.

  • I'd like to hear RATM do a version of this. It's right up their street, politically.... "live by the clock cos they tell you"

  • You know it's true! :P

  • When I heard this for the first time in Doornroosje, Nijmegen, I ran towards the dj, and asked him who made this music. Killing Joke at their best, in my opinion. So is there first 10" ! As good now...as it was then.

  • Kickass Song!
