@TheRandomSayer Yes, I would. The iMac uses OS X, which is optimized for the iMacs specs. It's as smooth, if not more so, than anything else I've ever used. I love it.

They aren't saying it's better than any given windows computer. They're saying it's a five star machine. It doesn't matter that your box has better specs, and you paid $500 for it. The design, performance, and experience of this computer really are great. They certainly aren't easy on Apple products.

1799... I built my rig for about 1200 and it works with any games (Skyrim, WoW, Batman AC, Deus Ex, BF3 and more) i throw at it on max settings. If you wanna save hundreds of bucks, build a PC it's worth it.

@JonathanHuynh07 Macs can run games yes, they can run them vary clean and nice but not as nice as window's based os system's(though windows run's faster on a mac, and games run amazing on a mac running windows). But for work such as video,retail,production,design­,audio ect mac's out perform. Macs can do a video project using red raw(look up red camera's if you dont know) which is 1tb or more for about 30 mins of footage, do post and pre production on it and the mac out performs. thats it simple.

Thunderbolt vs USB 3.0 is kinda like Battlefield 3 vs Modern Warfare 3, because even though many people say Battlefield (Thunderbolt) is better, most people will go for what they know which is MW3 (USB 3.0)

@SkywardDragonKing thunderbolt is rumored to be introduced in other non apple devices as well this coming CES. Right now USB is universal but because thunderbolt is 2 times faster other manufacturers will be making use of this as well.

Thunderbolt is faster BUT USB is just that.....a UNIVERSAL serial bus. Nearly everything uses USB from computer stuff, to Apple stuff, to externals to RC mini helicopters and mini fridges and gaming keyboards. Thunderbolt seems to be an amazing spec without the amazing application.

@2003SCT i said this to someone else but just letting you know that there are rumors of more thunderbolt devices to be released this coming CES. I don't think it'll replace the USB ports but i think it'll become more universal.

1) The thunderbolt port is also Mini-Display port, so there can be two external displays, or you can connect a MacBook, Air, or Pro to the iMac and use its screen as an external for the laptop.

2) The backwards scrolling is optional.

Its funny because Kevin has said before that he doesn't like apple that much. You can so tell they got paid to say 5/5. The specs on my computer are better than that imac and it cost $800, which would have been around $600 if i didn't want it that day and took the time to build it. At this point everyone that knows anything about computers already knows how bad macs are.

@xXEliteNewbieXx Yes it is, so just like a laptop it isn't going to be as powerful as any desktop. My problem with macs is not that they are terrible computers, but that most of them are mid range computers that have the price tag of a high end computer. Apple makes very simple products that work well, but over charge the hell out of it. Most people that buy macs do it because they don't feel like taking just a few hours to research what a computer needs to be good, and what that is worth.
