Awesome plant! My Music Theatre class is doing Little Shop and I need to make a cheap, movable Two-ie. Have you incorporated the moving mouth yet? Also I don't have access to airbrush, what alternate painting method do you recommend?
Thank God, you are the BEST!!! I had just about given up hope of finding instructions of this magnitude, I just went out today and bought green ping pong balls to try and make this on my own but something said search one more time and what do you know... I found you :)))
Just wanted to say a quick thanks for posting such an awesome tutorial! I'd never made a puppet before, but with this tutorial, I was able to fashion an Audrey II puppet for my office costume party. Cheers! :)
@kaneee21 Thanks. It was all in my head. Lol. I came up with it myself. I do a lot of my own Halloween decorations so I'm used to just designing something and making it myself. Check out my Halloween decoration video for more projects I came up with.
@smurfboywv Not that much at all. The styrofoam, cotton balls, and leaves I got from a dollar store. The metal bar, tubing, pot, and duct tape were from Home Depot. All those together were probably about $7. The masking latex was about $13 but I had it. The airbrush paints are about $3-$4 a boittle but I had those also. So all together it probably cost me about $10. But if you were to do it from scratch I'd say maybe $40 plus the price of an airbrush gun and compressor.
@smurfboywv Also, if you check out my other videos you can see some Halloween projects I made. Those weren't expensive to make either. Dollar stores, thrift stores, and hardware stores are great, cheap places to find materials for projects.
@digsart Thanks. If you check out my channel, I also painted an old paintball mask and I have a new video coming of a creature I made. You can see previews of it in other videos. Also, since Halloween is approaching, I'll be posting videos of the decorations I made once they're up.
@Transformaster217 I think if I sat down and worked it out, it could totally be made into a puppet. I'd have to rework the stem and head set up but I think it could work. I have another project I'm doing now, I show a preview of it in the begining of my "VIDEO OF RANDOMNESS" video. Maybe after I finish that one, I'll make the puppet version.
@tommy36597 I would like to see how it comes out as well! I was sketching plans on paper during job training today... and talking to some friends about it! and for sure I will place it on YouTube! :)
@MrCharliemk1 thanks for the comment. i got another project that i'm working on that you might want to check out too. subscribe because i'll be posting the video soon. when you finish your puppets respond with a video here so i can check them out.
