  • Thanks for posting this, it's great!...I would just add that this ID would be from later in the 1960s than the year 1960. During the 1960 and 1961 TV seasons, MGM was using "Leo in a circle", but you could not hear Leo roar at all. Instead, there was a really harsh musical fanfare that will really get your attention.

  • Then thay zoom out.

  • Interesting variation. Thanks for uploading.

  • This is the MGM Television logo, not MGM Pictures.

  • oh lol i new that !

  • I have a color version from 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas'.

  • 0:07-"Oh, Am I On?"

  • Haha LMAO

  • This lion was Jackie the third. My step grandpa trained them all. Melvin Koontz was his name and he was in hundreds of movies as a stunt man.

  • Boy, the lion wallpaper is freaky. The lions are always staring at me with their faces. I still think it is a good logo, though.

  • But take away the wallpaper and let me see Leo's face in absolute front for a real logo. Scar-ee!

  • Judging from the byline before the "fat lion sang", the "Bronze Productions" credit would link this to a short lived show from the 65-66 season, "The Man Called Shenandoah".

  • 5/5!

  • What's this from?
