I saw a segment on TV. They featured her on the Soundtrack to 'Red Cliff' which was huge here. She has amazing range and tone.

Like HH Dalai Lama said, "everyone wish to be happy". I think happiness is basic human right. Tibetans do not want freedom, we are not terrorist, we are not separatist. We just don't want to be second class citizens in our own homeland. If equality is too much to ask then I have no words to say.
PS:If you like Alan then support her. She is dear to many Tibetan as well as Chinese.

@CCPChina Alan did sing this song to the victim in Sichuan, and also made a huge donation to those victim 10k U.S , you have to understand that this song, is also payed a memorable respect to those victim how have lost their life, not to long ago Alan also mention those victim in some of her blog. The soul reason why alan sing this song in her concert was that she probably chose this song as a personal song you have to remember she also sing other song to.

I hear shes from somewhere in Tibet.
I saw a segment on TV. They featured her on the Soundtrack to 'Red Cliff' which was huge here. She has amazing range and tone.
I dont know if she writes her own lyrics or not, but when she still has a strong accent which makes it difficult to listen to in a completely natural way, its hard to imagine that she does....Those are probably a few reasons she isnt as popular here in Japan as someone might assume. But all in all I think shes great.

她很漂亮又很有才華 難得一見的人才 但去日本發的單曲 特色不大強 跟很多日本女歌手的歌差不了太多 可能是為了市場妥協 唱腔不能太有特色 所以減少了她中氣十足而清烈的唱法希望日本那邊能讓他多所發揮 不然太可惜了
