So, you know how you can take out the MAC insert and fit more?
Can you do that with these palettes? I depoted alll my shadows (so tons of different sizes) and want one palette per color...so it'd be pretty handy if possible.
You can remove the foam insert by spraying alcohol into each hole to loosen the glue. You will then have to glue in a piece of galvanized steel (you can purchase small sheets at home depot- building materials section) to make the palette magnetic. I did this on five 28 eye shadow palettes and two 10 eye shadow palettes. You can replace the foam for standard 26mm e/s, but for misc. odd shaped ones, omit the foam.

And they work amazing with really soft, "chalky" shadows. Normal brushes make those kind of shadows messy - but these Auraline brushes pick up every speck of shadow! They are SO damn soft & yummy feeling! haha I've used them every day since I bought them. Washed them once. Loving them so far!

I have some little magnets I bought for the backs of the MAC shadow pans that I depot, so i will try those & see if they will work inside the palette! ;)
I am also a huge MAC lover and user haha big surprise. BUTTTT I have found a cheap brushes at an amazing price and was sooo surprised by the quality and softness, I got them at CVS and then are Essence of Beauty brand. I got the angled powder brush and the smokey eye duo brush and a line brush...I would def. check them out!
I have 1 essence of beauty brush, and for years that was the ONLY brush I owned & used (I loved it!!)! LOL It was like a large fluffy eye shadow brush. I used it for EVERYTHING! Now i have a zillion brushes & use a different one for every part of my eye. Funny how things change like that. ;)
The only sucky thing is that Auraline apparently has a $50 minimum order... BOO. The stuff I was going to buy only came to $29 - oh well. I guess I'll do it some other time. ;p

Enkore just did a video with one of those 28 pallets! What he said to do was to get a very thin self-adhesive magnet and stick it to the actual pallet. That way, the magnet will stick to the metal of the Mac eyeshadow pan. I hope that made sense!
I might just try to sell them, not sure yet! Guess it depends on how I like these larger palettes. I think the 36mm will be perfect for the Nix'ie shadows but I will have to do a little tweaking of the others to get the MAC shadows to stay put!

actually if u pop out the plastic liner in the MAC palettes, u can fit 25 rather than the 15. just a little fun fact for future reference. U won't be using as many palettes that way.
I hope those brushes are able to keep their shape and prove they are of good quality! Your eye shadows are all gorgeous! I have Swiss Chocolate and it's one of my most favourite eye shadows from MAC. :)
I've always wanted a neutral MAC lipstick (or any brand for that matter) after I saw Fleshpot. So, i figured now was the best time to experiment with lipsticks! You can't find these colors at my outlet store either. Honeylove looks almost the same as Myth on me, maybe a little less "corpse-like" haha

No, you cannot easily remove the foam divider in the inside of the palette. It must be glued in.

they make a slim line magnet w/sticker back that may help secure the eyeshadow in the new pallets. hope that helps.

Arctic Grey is a Lustre - so think along the lines of Idol Eyes (Personally i think they look similar.)
Arctic Grey is a Frosted mid-tone grey.
Idol Eyes is a Silvered violet threaded with gold.
(I don't have Electra which is a frost & which MAC describes as Muted silver with icy metallic shimmer)
