There is also a book called Moorchild,is that where you found inspiration for this song?

The book is about a child of the Moor meaning an elf/troll/fairy child who is being

left in the cradle of a human child and grows up among humans in a small town in the country side and as the child grows she finds herself not being accepted by the humans and she runs away out on the moor's.

A great book that I can only recommend.

Ja, in der Trollsaga die ich kreiert habe mit den Liedern ist Brachnir die Haupt"person". Im Prinzip stellt jedes Trolllied ein Kapitel in der Saga dar, Moorchild ist dabei der Anfang, also die Geburt, und Trolltod ist das Ende. Dazwischen gibt es dann solche Dinge wie die Ankunft im Trolldorf oder Kämpfe wie bei Brachnirs Clam z.B. (Was nichts anderes als Brachnirs Faust heisst)
