Mandellp99 - no way that was a 1.5 sec 60' time. Probably more like a 1.35. With a stock ZX14 motor, a 1.5 sec 60' won't put you in the 8's. However, do believe it went 0-60 mph in 1.5 sec.

A S1000RR couldn't touch a a Busa or a ZX-14 with a kit from these guys (200-400hp). There's not much you can do to the Beemer to make it better; there's virtually no aftermarket besides pipes. Oh well. And the Beemer transmissions and final drives are junk. They've been outsourcing too much.

I have run consistently 2-3 mph higher trap speeds (in 1/4 mi.) on 93 octane than I ran using 100 octane unleaded race gas which means more horsepower. Most people don't realize that lower octane fuel burns quicker but if you NEED the octane, you better have it, lol.
Try doing that with a stock wheelbase, no turbo, no nitrous. Very smooth pass, which is more than I can say for most of my runs which are always wheelies in the first 3 gears, even lying down on the tank. Without an electric over air shifter, mine would be impossible since a gear change from 1st to 2nd while in the air is necessary.
god damn i love the zx14. i dont give a fuck about the new hayabusa. no matter the numbers of the new busa, i want a zx14. i hate the fucking punks that own busa's and think there hard.
Let's all wait until the '08 Busa. I'm not trying to put down either bike--to say one is better than the other is REALLY splitting hairs--I'm just saying let's wait until the new Hayabusa's numbers get proven on the street.
