@TheWoodyWoodpecker10 I think it's about five bucks a month, as I recall, about the same as Animoto. They both have their good points. Animoto is more elegant and push button. But leaves little room for personal creativity. Onetruemeida, has wild effects, numerous formats to choose from, and lots of room for personal creativity, but it's not as instant. And it lacks the elegance of Animoto. So I guess it all depends on what you want.
Really enjoyed the song as well as the pictures Doug.
Also, "Chet's music is going to endure for generations." Chet will always be remembered because of people like you willing to spend the huge amount of time required to produce and upload Chet's wonderful music.
@maurieer You're right. I'm fighting the clock to upload as much of Chet's music as I possibly can before my time runs out and I have to leave this place.
I do so appreciate you not sticking Tiny Tim in this video LOL! I would much rather hear Chet pick it than him "sing" it. If ya haven't checked out Jeff Beck, he does a mean version of Drown in My Own Tears as well. I listened to both Chet's and Jeff's last night.
@blueagate Not that tiny Tim doesn't deserve recognition. I heard a video here on Youtube where he stood up to Howard Stern for the Lord when they had used the Lord's name in vain, and he stood up to him with courage and boldness that few of us posses. Sure put me to shame. So that makes me think that we really didn't know or understand the man. He was probably highly understood in life.
@daffydoug No offense intended but the man couldn't sing. We must remember in the 60's anyone that wasn't cleancut all-american was considered decadent. Compared to what we have now, Tiny Tim was mild. Just like the Beatles were considered evil because they had long hair. Just like parents probably wax nostalgic for Led Zepplin instead of Snoop Doggy Dog. But, more and more kids are coming back to our generations music!
@blueagate Ineed to correct myself! I meant to type that Tim was probably highly MISunderstood!
Anyway, you're right. A lot of young kids make me proud when I see them playing Chet's tunes on their guitar. It makes me think maybe there is hope after all.
What we had is true music. That's why it's probably attracting them. It actually has elements of harmony and melody, etc. Rap has ZERO music. No wonder the kids eventually become bored and disillusioned and seek something with more substance.
@daffydoug No today's music has no soul is what the problem is. No matter how it was put across the musicians of the 60's, 70's and 80's knew how to project it even if they were metal bands. Today's music is nothing but hatred or total mush crap pop. Shoot even Frank Sinatra would probably thumb his nose at what is considered pop/easy listening today. When bands of that era die off there is no one to replace them.
I was the 1,000th view! LOL

@blueagate As far as Tiny Tim, it was a temptation, but I thought it would be in bad taste. Tacky, even.

@daffydoug Yup you're right it would have been tacky LOL!
