During Pahlavi era, the population density of Tehran was much lower than the population density now (dont blame the Islamic Republic for increasing population density). This means there was more space to build parks, mosques, non-business institutions etc.
And remember then there were not as many high rise buildings, apartments etc. This means that to prevent a particular group of people from being too distant from mosques, more mosques per person had to be built
Due to the new age era and higher population density, taller buildings had to be built, meaning less mosques per person was needed as the distance had to remain the same. See the thing about mosques is not how many it has to hold, but how near it is to the populus

I was born to a family who has Zoroastrian roots but they followed it because it was culture. I grew up disbelieving in God. I didnt believe in Zoroastrian customs because I knew they were just old customs nothing more.
I also saw how Zoroastrians behave towards other people and i understood that Prophet Zoroaster was a good man not his followers....

He said that the slaves of Muhammad had much more rights than ordinary people of that days. Prophet Muhammad bought these slaves from their owners to free them and he treated them like family members

the sword was brought on the flag during the qajar era around 100 yrs ago. when the king wanted to completely change the flag to an islamic flag but was convinced that he could just put a sword on the hand of the lion to represent the sword of ali. this is why we have the sword today. ali's sword killed hundreds of our people. i would explain ali's crimes on iranian blood but after reading your comment saying where did islam have iranian blood on it makes me see that u know nothing about history

In islam slavery is forbidden if you dont treat them like your family member. What you call slave in islam is different from what you call slave normally. Slave is someone whom you adopt like a child and you are responsible for educating feeding and freeing your slave according to Islam. but according to modern terms the meaning of slave has changed. I never believed in things I was brought up in. Zoroastrianism is the first religion taught to me, and yeah it was taught as a cultural thing not a religion so I never believed in it, as doesnt the Iranian Zoroastrians who are in reality atheists
Parsis, or Indian Zoroastrians are the only real Zoroastrians who follow their religion properly
90% stat I made that, because I know there are good people among Zoroastrians no matter how many bad words bad thoughts and bad deeds most of them incur

I got that figure from my estimations of how many Zoroastrians I know. I was raised in New York not far from a few Iranian Zoroastrian families, almost none of them actively believed in Zoroastrian faith. Thats what we call Zoro atheists.
I know its a contradiction, but if you hear about the number of people who call themselves Zoroastrian yet believe in the religion, you will find that few are there who are religious

Yeah I know its a contradiction, but the way people believe in the religion and still consider themselves Zoro is proof of it. I know religion is first about faith but honestly very few people have full faith in whatever religion they are an adherent of
I know very well about "Muslim atheists", not only Iranian, atheists who politically support muslims/Palestinians etc that they sometimes begin almost practicing the religion.
But compared to Zoro ism there are far more as % of real muslims

I see mosques being flooded every year by these kids before Konkoor. Why? Most Iranians still have faith in God.

12,000,000/2,300=5217
so 4 every 1 mosque theres 5217 people so simple math asks do u see 5217 people at each mosque? did u even see half that? or even a quater?

Suppose one person went once a month, each mosque would be entered by 5217/30 people each day = 174 people, and I suppose we see at least more than that every day
Entering mosques is not a compulsory part of Islam, it is only a symbol of devoutness to it.There are lots of Islamic Iranians who rarely go to a mosque

Look I told you, you are making a dreadful mistake on 5000 people per mosque. You are assuming that EVERY human being, young or old, goes to a mosque EVERY day. That is a poor statistical assumption.
And considering the sizes of each mosque, it is absolutely more than sufficient to host a quite devout population to attend sermons etc

even if u take out all those factors its still massave amout of people which no mosque in iran can handel and i didnt calculate that everyday it is just 4 1 day in iran ramadan ur ment 2 go 2 mosque but whats the avrage number of people u see? the mosques are often half full and all ages go 2 mosque theres no age restriction 4 it and i'm not saying they go everyday just if there was a more divout population the people per mosque would be smaller wouldent it?

I dont think there is ever going to be a day where even more than 5% of people (devout or non devout) will enter a mosque, so your calculations are not only invalid, they make the wrong assumptions too...
For any civic level 5000 per mosque is low enough...

so under the shah there was 1 mosque per 1000 people under mullahs there 1 mosque per 5000 people

if 5% of people went per day that means every person (100%) of the population would have attended the mosque in 20 days (100/5 = 20)
I dont care how many mosques per person there was. The Post-Qajar Shahs built themselves very few mosques - most was built before that because Iranians as a nature through the last 500 years had been devout muslims.This devoutness has been dying since Mossadegh's fall in 53. The "mullahs" only wanted to rejuvenate this devoutness

Again let me question your logic
During Pahlavi era, the population density of Tehran was much lower than the population density now (dont blame the Islamic Republic for increasing population density). This means there was more space to build parks, mosques, non-business institutions etc.

And remember then there were not as many high rise buildings, apartments etc. This means that to prevent a particular group of people from being too distant from mosques, more mosques per person had to be built
Due to the new age era and higher population density, taller buildings had to be built, meaning less mosques per person was needed as the distance had to remain the same. See the thing about mosques is not how many it has to hold, but how near it is to the populus

look again if you leave out very old and disabled people, Christians, Zarthoshtis and Jews you will find that a good percentage of the Iranian population attends mosques on ashura...
And yeah we have the streets for the occassion of ashura. And guess what there are larger rallies at ashura and Al Quds day than any other muslim countries

There is NO SUCH ammendment/law in the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran which "forces" people to watch executions.
Bring forth solid proof before you say it. And no "my mother's cousin's friend's grandson's uncle was forced to do so" stories. Bring solid proof from the constitution which FORCES certain individuals to watch executions

I was born to a family who has Zoroastrian roots but they followed it because it was culture. I grew up disbelieving in God. I didnt believe in Zoroastrian customs because I knew they were just old customs nothing more.
I also saw how Zoroastrians behave towards other people and i understood that Prophet Zoroaster was a good man not his followers....

Slavery in Islam is different from other slavery. Look at Bernard Lewis' (he was a non muslim) description of Islamic Slavery. He said that the slaves of Muhammad had much more rights than ordinary people of that days. Prophet Muhammad bought these slaves from their owners to free them and he treated them like family members
In fact according modern terms Prophet Muhammad never had slaves. They were just people freed by Prophet

The Armenians were Zoroastrians before they abandoned that religion for christianity. Do you blame that on arab invasions too? Iranians before Islam were leaving zoroastrianism for other local religions like mazdak, mani and christianity. How do you explain that there are only 200,000 zoroastrians in the world, but more than a million Iranians in the US? How come Iranians outside Iran dont mass convert back to be zoroasrians?
