Pretty cool! But I'll stick with my 430ex2 dor now as it has a higher guide number.

I agree with you- this is just the first of what Canon is developing. It would be interesting to see what they'll come up with a higher end version. 620ex anyone?

@aluxious I agree- The 580 Exii is way due for an update. They may be waiting on some new technology before releasing it, I heard they just put in some patents for built in radio transmitters in the body. Might just be a rumor, but great things are coming and I am very excited for them

As a XSi dSLR user, would you recommend the 320EX or the 430EX? As you know, the XSi does not have a video function so it is strictly a photography camera. I'm in the market to buy a flash and was wondering which one you would recommend between the two. Thanks in advance.

@guesswhoy0 The 430 is a better flash unit alone. The question is, do you plan to do any video in the near future? If so, then the 320 would be a good investment. If not, go for a 580 or 430.
