What a wonderful gift Schubert had for writing songs that touch the heart; and, for that matter, Liszt had for arranging them as piano solos - stylishly if not always 100% stylistically [final chromatic run - ouch!] Your performance of Standchen was beautiful, Abhik, and, as George rightly points out, very musical. It's a pity that nobody these days can write a nice tune like this!

My dad was in and I had him listen to this, without watching it and he claimed that it just had to be Horowitz. Mainly because that's the custom score Abhik is playing. Only thing is that Abhik actually finishes this better than Horowitz (despite the recording being glitched).

When I let him see who it was, he almost fell over... haha
