A lot of game show contestants do multiple shows, and it's almost never mentioned. Presumably, the shows don't want to give free publicity to their competition.
As to the hosts, contestants rarely get to interact with them much more than you see on TV, so I don't know all that much, but from what I did get, Pat seemed more professionally courteous, and Meredith more genuinely caring and enjoying of the job.
Y'know, Steve, my mother and I actually signed up for Family Edition about a month ago... maybe if we get on, I'll post my video someday... anyhoo, nice job!
Yeah, when I first saw it on TV, I kinda cringed at that. $1,000 isn't much at all, in terms of the money available on the show, and I get annoyed when I see people going bananas over relatively small sums (note how happy I was after the later puzzles), but yeah, I wish I would've come across better there.
From personal experience of being on the show, sometimes the contestant coords. want SO much energy out of you, it's a lot of pressure. The same thing happened to me, I solved a puzzle and during the break one of the coords. said "Sheesh, you solved that puzzle and just stood there". Tough stuff, and a lot to keep track of.
Heh. Yeah, the game's as easy as it looks at home, but the rest of being a contestant isn't. :) In my defense, I'm not that good at small talk, so my immediate thought was how I was going to handle the chat with Mr. Sajak. Despite my best efforts, it didn't go that well. Alas.
Very true. The interview was what I was most nervous about, but I didn't find it too hard to focus on the game, surprsingly. The lengthy rehearsals certainly helped me feel more comfortable on the set.
Wow nice comeback. Your opponent kept getting bankrupt. haha. You made more money there than on the millionaire show! Double wow! You really did lose a lot of weight. It seems like you lost your energy in millionaire show, though. You totally look like a different person... amazing and you won all that money. GOOD JOB!!!!!!!!!

No, because she didn't solve that puzzle. When I solved it, her $10,000 worth of cardboard vanished into the ether.

Steve, you were great. What is enough money is all reletive. As a pensioner I would smile at a modest amount.

This guy seems like a cocky bastard...Sheesh, didn't even smile after he won the 1st toss-up, as though he expected to win.
