Fantastic job, Nick! Not only do you play everything, but you sing the lyrics, too! Watching you perform is the best thing I did today. :) Best wishes.
Really great job! Thank you very much! By the way have you managed to see the ELP on 5-07-2010? As for vocals - sure it's hard to sing like Greg while playin' like Keith at once.
Man, you're an amazing keyboardist! But I was suprised by your voice being so low scince I'm so used to Tarkus being sung by the higher-pitched voice og Greg lake. :)
Haven't clicked on part two yet, but about to. I listen to a lot of ELP videos but I hardly ever leave comments because, well frankly I am a strong believer in "if you haven't got anything nice to say don't say anything at all". You got a lot further than I did in the Tarkus songbook (if you used the Tarkus songbook) than I did. You memorized it too, which I never did. I have more to say but I'll save it for the part 2 video.
Unbelievable. Awesome. Plays back in my head just like the original. I am absolutely taken aback. Be posting this link for sure. Thank you very much for the entertainment.
@Jaikumar257 The Hammond and the Korg are generating their own sounds. They are combined in an audio mixer and then run into the interface. The top keyboard is connected by USB and is controlling the Moog plugin. Hope that helps
Veryyyyyy good job, congratulations, you play almost like Keith Emerson. No kidding. Create another group like ELP, what are you waiting for? God bless you.
...i'm blown away, Dude. you even have the inflections. Sounds like a real Hammond. I thought Keith did it with a ring mod. But what do i know...lol...>>>
This is my favourite from the album "TARKUS" released on 14-06-1971 ! Fantastic playing keep on rockin man ! On 25-07-2010 the band are going to return for a reunion for a single concert ! You know ?
Yeah I really want to go, it's just a matter of whether or not I can make it to London this summer. I might be taking summer classes, but hopefully I can plan around ELP!
really impressing - are you autodidact or a learned pianist?

Wow! well done Nick!!!!! How did you come to try and replicate such a complex track such as Tarkus?
Truly one of the greatest bands this planet has seen and heard.
Seen them live twice, Preston 1971 and the Royal Albert Hall :)

haha yeah, I was happy enough to get the major keyboard transitions down, so I guess I didn't focus too much on the vocals.

Thanks! I got a bad case of GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) for a while, and when I finally decided to draw the line, this is what I ended up with.
