Great bike just a tad to small......... They should have kept the 955i for taller/bigger riders. It was like a 675 on crack, still puzzles me as to why they would drop it? Though the 955i periodically stopped when they started to develop the Triumph daytona Hurricane 1300cc Busa slayer 200mph stock!
I owen have 675,it´s many intressting Pics.in this Video that you build. But the greatest Pic.it is the Pic with the Daytonas and the Aeroplane. Can you tell me form wich site you have this Pic.or have you the adress how i can find this Pic. Thanks
hello there Bigjon930. Wow cool fella you ride the same bike as myself :D. I would think this bike would be good for you mate i have a mate who is 6'6 and he rides a kawasaki zx6R ninja
this bike is quick... though not so terribly life threatening as the liters... the thing to consider as a beginner is that it is a light bike with very powerful brakes. which more or less means the second you panic and grab an armful of front is the second before you get piledriven into the pavement head first...not to discourage tho, i love this bike
0-60 is less then 3.75 seconds. Is it a good beginner bike? I would say no, but after riding my 09 for about 100 miles...I could say that it is very forgiving. Its lightweight, turns incredibly well, and the throttle response is great. I would say start on a cheap 250, and ride it for a year...then move up to this.
@tzan94 i would say go with something like the fzr600 fz6r or like the kawaski 500r or 650r (or gs500 or whatever it is from suzuki) but dont get a super sport bike as a first bike, but dont get a 250, cause ur right...U WILL GET BORED my neighbor bought 250, had to upgrade in 3 months cause he was bored
@thrasha666 yea thats my whole point. i just want to get bored fast. i talked to this one guy and he suggested the 675.....but i could get 500 im fine with that
@tzan94 yea anything but a 250, i would suggest staying away from 600s and up (in the super sport category) such as the daytona, r6, zx6r, r1 etc as u need to have good throttle and clutch control for them and in general arent as forgiving to a new rider as say the fz6r is (jsuk the fz6r by yamaha has last generations r6 engine in it so it does go fairly fast, but just has a meatier low end since its tuned dif. and has a less agressive riding pose so its more forgiving...
@tzan94 ...my cousin got the fz6r in march, and he let me take it out i gotta say its more fun then my r1s or r6s (for when u wanna relax though because of the better low and and less agressive stance, when u want trued speed my r's take the cake)...if u got any questions about bikes or anything feel free to pm me, ive been riding for 9 years so im sure ive got some type of knowledge u could use
@mohammad112388 Also, when you're just starting to ride it's a lot funner to push a little 250 to it's limits than it is to tiptoe around on a 600, assuming you're not going to the track.
Well thats the thing, most purchasers of the daytona 675 are boys of 18-30 years of age. I know when I get something, I like to test it, and for someone who has never ridden before, being male 18-30....they are gonna "test it" and its very possible to get injured. I miss the 250 sometimes, cause yea, maybe a 675 can go fast, but it will never handle/turn as well as a 250 ;)
got a graphite one.
love it !

BigJon: Go sit on one. They're incredibly tiny bikes. I'm 6'1" and the bike disappears under me. I still want one though.

hey nice vid, do you guys think 670cc is to much for a starting bike? and does anyone know what this bike can do 0-60?

@mohammad112388 unless you've been riding other bikes. i've been riding a dirt bike for awhile and i don't want a little 250.
tzan94 1 year ago
@tzan94
1. Your ego is getting in your way, I can tell because you call it a 'little' 250
2. I have had 6 bikes throughout the years, and I started on a 250
3. Dirt bikes handle completely differently than street bikes, I own a klr 650, I should know.
Best of luck to ya.
mohammad112388 1 year ago
@mohammad112388 1. compared to bigger bikes they are really slow, so i said little meaning the engine.
2. i dont want to get bored with the 250 and have to buy a new bike a few months after the 250
3.i know and a klr is a dual sport so it handles differently then a street bike and a dirt bike
