I agree. I'd rather have something like a GT3076R that is spooled up at 3500RPM and has a great powerband instead of a huge oversized turbo like a GT4708R that only creates peak power for around 1000RPM. Upgrading the internals of the engine and doing other mods that accompany a turbo will give more horsepower and still keep the powerband good.

nah man. those bolts are crazy hard to remove. many times you have to use a sawsall or a hack saw to remove turbo bolts. the constant heating/cooling makes them stick on pretty good plus rust.
