Here is a good Idea put about 10 Puranas in with them and see what happens then make it to a saltwater tank it would look so much cooler. Good tank tho.
I would certainly add more substrate to the aquaria. Formulas can be rather complicated and extra-specific, but the general rule is 1 pound per gallon. You have another 100 or so pounds to go! Though too, I understand that could be challenging economically -- Caribsea Tahitian Moon sand is not exactly inexpensive.
@KlassickVideo Agreed and that's why I ended up getting pool filter sand. It's quite inexpensive and looks fantastic. No, there aren't any chemicals in the sand that adversely affect water supply. Some of my fish love to sift through the sand, spit it out and so on, looking for snacks. Having said that, his choice of black moon gravel looks appealing, albeit expensive.
@LiNERROR u really dont know fish... the nitrate buildup would be ore toxic than the amonia with too many golfish and lots of filtration the nitrate build up would burn the leaves and roots of the plants and stunt the fish and cause deseases like droopsy you bacicly saying you can have 1000000 gallons of filtration and have 100000 goldfish in a 0.00000000000000001 galllon pippet
@ussardor It could be a couple things. Is your tank cycled? Uncycled tanks get cloudy quickly. Also feedings, water changes and filtration have a lot to do with it. So feed only as much as your fish will eat in 2 minutes, do routine weekly water changes and have adequate filtration for your tank :)
Nice tank n fish. Goldfish are awesome, theyre my first fish. Does running 180 gallon tank significantly increase ur hydro bill? I have a 120g right now, thinking on upgrading to a 150/180 gallon in the future.
@f2warbound For your tank I don't think it would be a big difference. I upgraded from a 55, 30 and 20. 50% water changes once a week went from 50 gallons a week to 90. It didn't change much at all.
@eurasianchica It is. It grows rather fast in the beginning. It got really long and tangled with another plant so I had to do a major trimming on it. It hasn't grown back as fast since then. But it has also been transplanted from its original tank.
Damn.. this looks slick. Very very nice. The black sand & the green plants complement each other very well. If you can put jungle valesneria, it would top that. I hope to see some big GF (Ryukin, Ranchu, Orandas ) in there sometime soon.
A big ass tank for some gold fish...fucking lame...but keep doing your thing you got a really nice tank.

@nhstitan18 for 180 18 goldies is the most
fabihanski 3 months ago
@fabihanski it has 5 filters and 2600gph filtration so 21 isn't a problem. But I won't be adding any more.
nhstitan18 3 months ago
@fabihanski 1 goldfish per 10 gallons? as long as you have the filtration you can have tons...

Your tank is awesome! I wish I could keep a tank that size, but my parents think my 55 liter one is too big as it is already.

Hi, nice tank. Do the goldfish attack the plants?
hrf42000 4 months ago
@hrf42000 They don't attack those plants. They devoured ancharis though.

Beautiful tank, what glass used to make it, tempered or simple like 18mm etc..?
07105006 4 months ago
@07105006 Its regular glass. The last owners were going to drill it for saltwater but it was too wide.

Very nice aquarium. I love it. How do you keep it so clean? My tank gets dirty very quickly. Do i feed them too much ? Any advise ? Please!
