  • This should be in the movie. Its a Fun scene and shows the steps Obi-Wan has to go through to find out where the dart came from.

  • This scene was deleted from the film right? Well I'm glad George Lucas hasn't completely lost his mind then.

  • he was using his resources. once the quickest resource failed, he went to the next on. at least he learned it was custom made. and he thought of who could identify it after the fact

  • Comment removed

  • I know who can identify this, ma ass!

  • I realy didn"t here that because my phone was running low on batery from:niko. My real name is niko not Treasa fay so yeah im 8

  • @teresafay123 no one gives a fuck

  • 0:54

Good thing Obi-Wan stood away from the tray, that thing could've tooken his head off!

  • The prequels should have been laid out into 4 movies and not just 3. It would have allowed more time to play out Anakin's downfall and probably more quality movies. I mean what's up with all the CGI after Episode 1? Episode 3 is almost a Pixar movie!

  • @biggerholes but great though. i'm not ashamed to admit it. it love every star wars movie. some more than others of course, but the third is the best of the prequels

  • I actually kinda like this scene. Makes sence that ken obi would go to the droids first.

  • They should delete the whole movie

  • the prequels aren't bad, they're important to see the development of Anakin

  • I hate the idea of techie Jedis. I always imagined them living in a giant pyramid surrounded by trees, drinking their own urin, and gregorian chanting in their pajamas.

  • Yawn. As boring as the rest of the film. I'd rather bathe the elderly than ever have to sit through this garbage again. Only episodes 4,5 and 6 exist as far as I'm concerned.

  • @wampabutt thats because ur a tube.....but thats my opinon

  • wall-e eyes lol

  • thats funny how the one of the droids waved arm to the other. As if the have never heard of Wifi there.

  • This droid look like an E.T btw....and like Number 5, a mix of E.T. and Number 5.

  • damn wall-e gotta work two jobs now?

  • They should have deleted the entire movie...

  • He might be polite but still a droid hater "If droids could think there wouldn't be any of us here would there" I think thats the quote.

  • the doids look a bit like floating wall-e`s! =)

  • The only thing that could've made this scene even more cut worthy would have been if Obi looked at wrist watch and said to himself, I wonder if his shift is over yet. Hmmm...

  • Nice "hair" style for a droid ;)

  • thast the nurse driod that delivers padme as shes dieing

  • Isn't that one robot H.E.R.B.I.E. from the old Fantastic Four cartoon?

  • you know what the main problem is in the prequels, they never really made it feel like a weird dream like all the original star wars movies .. even the same scripts, actors, cgi, even jar jar couldve worked if somehow they just gave it the eerie fantasy / dream feeling somehow with different cinematography and totally different acting styles and camera angles and set designs, real storm troopers, that sort of thing

  • This is part of the fun A-to-B dective track that would be fun to see in the movie again someday. It's not ubber nessisary to have , but it's a nice scene and does'nt hurt anything and frankley adds to the narrative.

  • starwarsepisode7. com

  • There are nine episodes i read, George should do the final three whilst the original actors (mark, harrison ford etc) are still alive!

  • Harrison Ford said hed never reprise the role again

  • @MerryChristmasJedi yet he'd come back as Indiana Jones as a 60 year old man. lol, I bet he'd do it if the pay was big enough.

  • i dont no, after seeing how shit the new indiana jones was i reckon he'd be scared away from resurrecting another character

  • He PLANNED for 9 episodes but he wanted to focus on the story of Anakin Skywalker. But the last 3 episodes could be made for KOTOR.

  • agreed, I have no idea who gave you thumbs down, that would be awesome to do a trilogy for kotor

  • @codafett KOTOR is whole different saga of the same universe. Episodes 7-9 would show formation of New Republic, birth of sons of Han and Leia. Formation of New Jedi Order by Luke and Mara Jade and Palpatine´s ultimate death (Palpatine´s spirit survived in episode VI). And maybe death of Chewie.

For KOTOR you need another 9 episodes. They would focus on Great Sith War, Exar Kun, Qel-Doma, Revan, Sion, Mandalorians and so on.

  • Damn right. Fuck That shit. But it was bound to happen :( Depressing.

  • To be fair to the newer movies, they are good for answering questions. How else were we supposed to know exactly how Anakin turned to the dark side? But the originals could stand on their own. The prequels couldn't stand without the originals.

  • yes, but it was such pooor writting, especially in the Last one. It was completely crazy how many loop holes were there, its as if nobody proofread the script XD

  • @TheLoneAdvocator guess u havn't seen the first 3 movies? EVERY movie has huge loopholes but who cares. Suspend your disbelief

  • @ARIAxSKYEx We know enough about how Anikan truned to the dark side from what Obi-Wan sad, he was tempted, ect. They don't have to answer every little question. Leave some things to the imagination of the viewer, you know?

  • @ARIAxSKYEx Anakin turned into the darkside becuse he didn't have Quigon Jinn with him who made a proper fatherly figure for Anakin. However, when he died, Palpatine took the role and played a bad role as a fatherly figure and allured him to evil

  • should have kept the scene..

  • That fat guy can identify this Lol

  • so? special effects make things a lot better sometimes

  • Only if the ADD to the story. The PT relied too heavily on CGI to tell the story. Too much eye candy can be a bad thing. Lucas was showing off his ILM's advanced technology, nothing more.

  • michael55 heres an idea why not just piss off back to 4,5 and 6. there's nothing wrong with the whole series

  • Episode 2 is by far the worst of any of Star Wars Trilogies. I'm a huge Star Wars fan and this movie managed to make me fall asleep.

  • i agree i'd rather watch that clone wars show then episode 2...attack of the clones what was lucas thinking! Any movie that is an "of the" title is horrible...

  • "Raiders of the Lost Ark"?

  • heh well i was more referencing something like "attack of the killer tomatos" or something of the sort. Aye in retrospect i mean "atack of the" movies simply fail.

  • "Return of the Jedi"

  • 0.51 "Stand away from the sensor tray please".

Why are you going to fire it out ?

    No just 2 inches!

    = )

  • i know who can identify this! me! its a toxic dart

  • it's a kamino sabredart! yeh!

  • this scene does not add much to the story but it hurts to cut because it is so wonderful, in its presentation. a great LOOKING scene.

  • Episode II overall had a great look to it. Must've been the less dark atmosphere of the movie in contrast to Episode III.

Oh I know, it's because Ep III was all over the place and the scenes on Coruscant all took place in mostly the same few buildings: there were few shots of the Jedi temple during the day or the city.

  • I realize it's to help the audience keep up, but it sometimes bugs when characters talk to themselves...

  • I loved this little scene. It added to the A to B to C of the mystery. I hope George Puts it back in the cut for The Directors movie set.

  • Only Obi-Wan is polite enough to say thank you to a droid

  • Padme too...

  • yeah but she only know 2 droids.

  • What do u mean?

  • fuck droids.

  • @darkwhitedirewolf Ofcourse because selfconsious droids are people too.

  • @darkwhitedirewolf He didn't even in Episode I xD

  • This scene was in the cinema version :O When I saw this on DVD I was waiting for the analysing scene and I was like "wtf" when it didn't come :\

  • It was never in the cinema version, it was cut right before the movie was released

  • who identifed that thing i wonder.

  • but they are not garbge droids

  • wwaall--ee

  • yeah xD

  • Interestingly, when I saw Attack of the Clones in the theater it had all those deleted scenes included. Both times. Talk about weird.

  • theater?

  • theater - cinema

  • Theatre

  • american-english and british-english spelling difference, both are correct and accepted ways of spelling the word.

  • lol,the robot looks like WALL-E!

  • Who Obi wan? WHo can identify that thing?

  • some dishwasher in a suspicous looking diner if you ask me.

  • im glad they didn't include this scene

  • I don't think this scene was necessary to be included in the film. Especially that last line, it's just so clique and out of character for obi wan.

  • yeah

"i know how can identify this"

isnt at all like obi wan

  • Coming from someone who actually likes the prequels, that scene was retarded.

Obi: Identify this toxic dart please.

Droid: Okay...Sorry, we cannot identify what this toxic dart is.

Obi: That's okay, I knew someone who could've identified this all along anyway.

George: I have just wasted 60 seconds of your life!

  • @xXStormtrooper117Xx Good call man, that made me laugh out loud. Too true though.

  • @xXStormtrooper117Xx

Well , I have too respectfully disagree there. Not only do we get to see more area's of the Jedi Temple ( that's just cool in itself ) and these Droids that they latter make fun of and speak about in the movie , but it's all part of this 1930's Sam Spade Detective journey of Obi-wan to find Answers. So it's natural that he as a Jedi knight would use those resources first before going to his friend , that he latter thinks of. Just my 2 cents from one fan too another.

  • @jayce79 You are right!!!!

  • @xXStormtrooper117Xx yes i think it's better without the scene

by the way glad you like the prequels they are so underrated

  • @xXStormtrooper117Xx maybe obi-wan wnted an official source[

  • @xXStormtrooper117Xx I love all 6 Star Wars movies and make no apologies for the fact that the prequels are part of that. No matter how much crap anyone gives me.

  • @xXStormtrooper117Xx Getting information from droids who can actually check official records is probably the more intelligent thing to do. I agree, this scene doesn't really belong... But it makes more sense than "Strange lookin dart, maybe my obnoxiously rude and kinda creepy friend down at the diner can help me out."

  • @xXStormtrooper117Xx

Red Letter media fan boy much? ;) Gafk

  • @xXStormtrooper117Xx

Im pretty sure thats why its a deleted scene.....

  • oooh its walle

  • I KNOW!!!!

  • cool cool scene.. but not needed... hahaha oh well..

  • this is a cool scene

  • Very Cool scene. A lota good stuff was cut out of Episode II. Can't wait for a Director's edition cut , one day.

  • yea they hade to remove alot of good scenes so that the movie wouldent be too long. apperently in the uncut version the part were anakin and obiwan is onboard griveus ship was over 50 min long..they hade to remove like 20-30min from that part..but i dont care much for those scenes..but then it´s one scene they removed that makes me hate them....the one were you get to see Yoda land on Dagobah :(

  • it isnt always to shortrn the tinme frame (most of the time it is) thier is a scene in episode III where shakk ti is killed but they deleted that scene so she could be alive and i think she survived the jedi purge

  • If they included this scene, this cud be the same room where Padme gave birth to Luke and Leia. Just a thought.

  • No, it couldn't have been. In any way, shape, or form. Luke and Leia were born on Polis Massa, as shown in Eps III. the Temple was destroyed by then, besides - would Obi Wan and Yoda risk going back with all the clones there, with a pregnant woman in tow?

  • No, the delivery did not take place in the Jedi Temple. Watch the movie again.

  • True, it didn't. It took place on Polis Massa, as nightshadow pointed out.

  • This scene could have been important by telling us where he started when he was IDing the saberdart

  • what a pointless scene! you learn nothing, all it shows you is how the stupid robots have to communicate to each other using HAND SIGNALS! why not bluetooth or wireless etc. its mad!

  • That's why they deleted it...

  • that sucks, they need to remake the originals. With todays special effects it could be amazing

  • The originals are fine as they are.

  • well ya, they are good now, im not saying they are bad, im just saying they could do a really really good job

  • yeah i love the old ones, AND NO OFFENSE TO ANY LUKE FANS! but i think hes kind dumb, a better actor, but han was amazing

  • they were allready remastered! isnt that good enough?

  • I wished they included this scene in the theatrical movie. Lucas couldn't add this little scene in his big budget movie? I'm surprised.

  • most of the people resding this will be to young to understand but George Lucus really fucked thw SW story with the prequals. The first three were so good.

  • i know what you mean. ep. 1-3 aren't nearly as good as 4-6, just lots of eye candy. i was totally bored throughout.

  • *slap* Now go back and try again.

  • I know I'll get a lot of flack for saying this but those flying droids are cooler then C-3P0 and R2D2 put together! As a kid, I never cared for C-3PO because I thought he was too low and he would get someone killed. But I bet those flying droids can faster then any man running.

  • damn, i wish those droids did identify that dart, sparing us that scene with that fat ugly blob and robot waitresses in that 50's style american dinner in a galaxy far far away.

  • haha yes

  • @ticktock - that would have made far more sense.

  • Cool

  • They should have this scene in the new Special Edition.

  • the fat brown moustached alien can identify that

  • you forgot one more adjective ntuman : ugly.
