  • Just out of curiosity, if you were to trade any of your disney tapes, which ones would you choose and what would you trade them for????

(Excuse me for asking, but as I said, I'm curious to know.)

  • If I were to trade a Disney video, I'd trade it for another Disney video that I don't have. But I don't intend on trading any of my videos, DVDs and Blu-Ray discs in the collection.

  • I have the original vhs release of Pollyanna in the clam shell case that I am selling because I don't collect disney movies. If you or anyone else is interested send me a message. It is in great condition.

  • i like kinda borin but i like it :D

  • Check out a video of my Walt Disney collection of VHS tapes. Let me know if I have any rare ones :)

  • While pretty much all early 1990s Disney videos are becoming collectors' items, ones that are unopened and still sealed are often sought after.

  • Is there any way of verifying whether I have the same copy as yours without actually opening the tape? I'd prefer to keep it in mint condition since I have an opened copy already.

  • Maybe not. The copy I show in this video has a horizontal paper label, and it was printed in July 1991.

Earlier copies have the silk-screened label, which you probably have. I have this copy as well, which you can see on "My Disney Video Collection 6".

  • I found an unopened (original seal) VHS copy of "The Jungle Book" yesterday. The cover art is exactly like the one shown in your video. On the spine it has "the classics" black diamond, cat# VHS1122, and a gold sticker on the cover offering "$3 cash back from Disney", expiring 8/31/91

  • Anyone looking for mint VHS copies in their original plastic wrap of: 101 Dalmatians, Beauty & the Beast, Fantasia, Jungle Book, Pinocchio, Rescuers Down Under, or Robin Hood? I got many others in near-MINT that have only been played once or twice, too.

  • I used to collect all the VHS clamshell videos to give away to "kids" later due to the 7 year moratorium they had for RE-RELEASE. I would just give a copy to those who'd enjoy at Christmas, and everyone would ask where I found them. Unfortunately most kids these days have begun using DVDs so getting one as a gift is no longer a PRIZE. I used to buy 3-5 copies of each one when they were released. I still have some, and plan to sell them at an upcoming garage sale. Some are in MINT condition!!!

  • Ive got thousands of disney video's but don't really wanbt to sell them as they will be worth something probaly!! how did you get all they videos?? just by collecting over the years??

  • eBay is where I got most of them, mostly the ones in the original clamshells. Others I got from several rental stores going out of business years ago and a store that sells used VHS tapes and DVDs. Then there's tag sales.

I've collected since 2005, but had a lot of tapes before then.

  • Hey Kyle, I do have a question. Of all the Disney VHS tapes you have, which one(s) do you watch the most, if you had to guess?

  • I really don't know. To this day, I often watch the tapes with cartoons on them, but for films, I've watched "Snow White" a few times recently.

  • that's cool. I watch "Snow White" here and there a lot; it's a pretty good film. I have both the 1994 VHS and 2001 VHS. Since I don't have the 2001 DVD, I'm going to get the DVD when it comes out this fall.

  • seeing this makes me wish i kept all my disney Vhs' ... i had loadsss! :D

  • I'd love to buy that vintage lady and the tramp VHS from you.

  • just being curious which version of pete's dragon is that vhs

  • It's the original 1980 video release, on Beta, the competitor to VHS back in the 1980s.

  • Thanks for sharing! I have an extensive Disney video (white clamshell from the 80's) collection too. They are all in Beta, though and who knows when I'll ever get to watch them.

  • give them to me, I still own a beta.

  • You'd better hold on tight to this collection. Surely one day, VHS tapes will be considered retro and cool, just like vinyl records are considered retro and cool today.

  • Yeah, VHS can;t be retro yet because they only retired them three years ago, anyways can I live with you Imaxination80?! ROFL, just kidding.

  • I like the Dumbo Tape released on October 14, 1986.

  • Sorry if I offend anyone, but,

JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are un-freakin'-believable!!!!!!! It is amazing how you collected all of these Walt Disney Home Videocassettes throughout the past three decades!

  • Do you have any of the wonderful world of Disney vhs tapes?

  • Not yet, but I will eventually get some for the collection some day.

  • This is so cool (to me at least HAHA) I was smiling the whole time -- THANK YOU!

  • Can You Download The Pinocchio Trailer on your own VHS? the promoting of pinocchio?

  • 2:27 Who made these tapes like that?

  • The tape at 2:27 is a Betamax tape.

  • My 1991 Version Copy Of The Jungle Book Didn't Have The Sticker Label,It Had A Ink Label.

  • Thats because the Version here is a UK Copy.

  • Sorry, One of the Versions shown here is.

  • is the vhs tape of robin hood a 1991 release?

  • The one I am showing? No, the tape is the 1984 release. But you see the 1991 release at the beginning, on the shelf.

  • Did I see a UK VHS of Jung Book with the green "U" triangle on it?

  • Dang That's A Lot

  • I have a few questions for you:

    1. On your "Pete's Dragon" Beta tape, is the title on the label in color or black-and-white?

    2. What does the inside of the clamshell on your "The Jungle Book" tape with the vertical label look like?

    3. What's the print date for your 1984 VHS copy of "Robin Hood" (which you'll be showing in Part 5)?

BTW, I just talked to MusicMan2295, and he told me that he WILL be helping you with Part 5; he's just waiting for a camera.

  • 1. It's black and yellow.

    2. The inside of the clamshell has a grid-like pattern.

    3. The print date is 11-18-84.

About MusicMan, I am using my digital camera to film videos. This time, I want the quality to be better for the most part. Right now I'm filming my record collection with it.

  • I see.

BTW, I just got the 1981 video compilation "Goofy Over Sports" today!

  • Cool. Is there a print date on the video?

  • Yes. It's dated 5-10-82.

  • Sorry, just wondering.

  • Was that "Mickey and the Beanstalk" between "Pollyana" and "Tex"?

  • It's "Fun And Fancy Free", but "Mickey and the Beanstalk" is in big text below it for some reason.

  • Will you upload your Jungle Book previews with the gold FP logo on it?

  • suggestion, tilt the camera 90 degreed to the right, start at the far right end of each shelf and move across to the lift, this way people can read the titles easily as if reading movie credits.

  • Tapes, I meant to say.

  • Now I have 8 Classics and a few rare VHS Taps as well as my 1985 reprint of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow".

  • omfg where did u get these antique-like video cases? did u collect them over the 80s and 90s and just decided to never get rid of them? i envy you greatly!

  • He bought tem on ebay before everyone went crazy and buying every vintage VHS

  • Now I have 7 Classics tapes and a rare 1984 VHS as well as The Brave Little Toaster 1994 reprint

  • Which one?

  • Ha ha ha! You're just like me ... I have doubles of movies too! XD Awesome collection!

  • "Kids Is Kids"

  • Hey Imaxination80, does your Jungle Book tape have the Gold FP logo or no?

  • Yes, it has the gold Feature Presentation typeface.

  • really? cool! That's a print of The Jungle Book I'd most def. like to see

  • ASACAPRA already did the previews to that

  • oh. I forgot.

  • Me too!

  • Oh, did I say it had the Gold FP screen? No, it doesn't, sorry for the error I made. I accidentally though about something else.

  • That's okay. Just to make sure, "The Jungle Book" tape you showed in this vid has no FP logo?

  • Yeah, I was not fully awake when I typed that in. I confused it with another 1991 video.

My "The Jungle Book" 1991 tapes (Both of them) don't have any FP logo.

  • Hey Kyle, earlier today, I actually found a copy of "The Jungle Book" with the sticker label that you have. However, just like your copy, the copy I got has no "Feature Presentation" logo. =[

but hey, I found the tape, and that, to me, is what counts. =]

  • To my knowledge, I've never seen or heard of a copy that does have the FP logo.

But that's very good that you got it. What's the print date?

  • neither have i, but i've been told there are some rare copies with it. don't know if there really are or not.

Thanks! And the print date is from July 1991

  • My copy was also printed in July. Perhaps these copies are extremely early pressings or very late pressings.

I think "The Jungle Book" was dropped from print in spring 1992, I'm not too sure.

  • What is the difference between your 3 Bambi tapes and your 3 Robin Hood tapes.

  • Robin Hood 1.Previews 2.1988 logo 3.1989 cut short logo?

  • What is the difference between your 3 Bambi tapes and your 3 Robin Hood tapes. I want

    Imaxination80 to answer this time.

  • The first 2 "Robin Hood" tapes have the previews, while the third one does not. There is no difference between the 3 "Bambi" tapes.

  • What's on the third one

  • What is the difference between your 2 copies of the jungle book.

  • One copy has the silk-screened label on the tape, the other has a white vertical label.

  • DO ANY OF THEM HAVE A FP LOGO IN IT?

  • Does your Dumbo 1990 copy have previews.

  • Nope reprints of the WDC excluding Robin Hood don't have previews

  • There is a print of Dumbo with previews. The video with white verticle labeling.

  • your lucky to have all these's disney movies.

  • thats Nice and all but do you watch them?

  • Yes.

  • How come you can't upload the previews for these tapes.

  • He doesn't have a sandisk-v-mate

  • Why wont you upload the previews to all your cool tapes like Pinocchio sales tape or any others.

  • If I were to upload them, I wouldn't rely on the camera's quality. The video capture unit or the device livinlarge18 mentioned would make it better quality and more enjoyable. I just need to get one.

Do any of you know where they are sold?

  • If you cant find one could you still upload some of the previews. They really look amazing. Where did you find such tapes?

  • The "Pinocchio" preview/sales tape I got on eBay along with many others, other were purchased at this video store that's slowing closing and selling all of its titles.

    I'll see about the previews.

  • You are the biggest master of all Disney tapes. You know that.

  • Do you have the video Kids Is Kids.

  • I don't have "Kids Is Kids", yet.

  • Will you upload the sales tape, Please.

  • He needs a capture unit to make it perfect quality

  • Can you please upload the Pinocchio sales tape. I looked on ebay and there was no tape like that.

  • Can you please upload the Pinocchio sales tape. I looked on ebay and there was no tape like that.

  • A sand disk v mate

  • That's true fandom, mate. You even have a PAL tape in your collection. I salute you! :o)

  • All the videotapes at 0:04-0:44 are in order of release date.

  • thanx 4 putting this up. i'm a disney fan myself and was thinking of buying all of the movies i have on DVD and selling all of the VHS ones, but showing me how rare some of these are makes me wanna keep them ^^ thanx

  • too bad you stopped, you could of had the recalled rescuers

  • The one where the topless woman was removed

  • Stopped what? Collecting, or making these videos?

  • collecting

  • I'm still collecting, I've got Christmas money and I'm currently debating on what I am going to get for the collection.

  • Try to gind the 1991 print of Alice in Wonderland

  • Try to find a VHJS of Robin Hood 1984 release I noticed you onl.y have BETA's and the 1986/1987 releases

  • I have the 1984 Robin Hood print on VHS now.

  • Good I am requesting it

  • Try to find the 1991 print of Alice in Wonderland thats a good print especially with the 1989 Walt Disney Classics logo

  • I found a reprint of Pete's Dragon

  • Nice collection. Do you have more besides Disney Movies?

  • I have a bunch of other movies, but as a Disney fan, I collect Disney videos.

  • I'm starting to I have 6 Classics tapes and 15 Masterpiece Collection tapes

  • The closet in my homeroom has a 1985 VHS print of Pete's Dragon with that old square label with Mickey from Fantasia. It was printed on August 28, 1985.

  • You have an awesome collection. I wish I could collect Disney VHSs too, but I don't have the room to display them properly.

  • Can you show us Mary Poppins (classics version)

  • I've already got that planned for Part 5. It may be filmed today. I'll see what happens.

  • And 1988 print of Three Caballeros

  • Yes, I'll show that too.

  • and The Little Mermaid and The Rescuers Down Under

  • Showing that as well.

  • I forgot to ask, what previews do you have on "Bedknobs and Broomsticks"?

  • Which version? The 1986 version or the 1994 version?

  • 1994 version.

  • Preview for "The Brave Little Toaster", but I must watch it again to make sure.

  • OK.

  • You, me, and videolover have the exact same version of the 1994 VHS of "The Sword in the Stone".

  • I looove your Disney Vhs collection (There super rare vhs ^^) 5/5 stars

  • Can you please do a Part 3 and 4 for me and show us your Alice in Wonderland tapes ?

  • Part 3 is up and has the 1981/82 "Alice in Wonderland" tape. I'll show the other one in Part 4.

  • I have a public library that borders my town and they have a 1997 print of "Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey".

  • About that black, padded VHS of "Dumbo" shown from 3:59 to 4:23... I will be getting my own copy of that in a few weeks! Like your Beta copy, my VHS copy won't have any fading on the clamshell.

I also have the 1991 print, and the clamshell is like new on my copy, unlike yours (which you said was in bad condition).

  • I know, I had that one since I was born. I probably damaged it myself. I am determined to get good condition copies of the 1985 and 1991 copies of the video release.

  • You have a good variety collection of classic Disney movies.

  • What about that VHS inbetween "The Lion King" and "Cinderella"?

  • It's another copy of "The Lion King".

  • Yeah, I heard they made three versions of "The Lion King". There's the traditional version we all know of, another version where the "Angels in the Outfield" trailer is different, and another one were the coming attraction logo says "Coming to Videocassette" and has no "Cinderella" or "The Aristocats" previews.

  • If the trailer isn't on "Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day", then it must be on "Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too!".

  • I have "And Tiger Too!", printed in 1990. It has no trailer.

  • Well, then I guess it has to be on WDCC: vol.11: Mickey and the Gang.

  • What are those tapes inbetween "The Rescuers Down Under" and "Fantasia".

  • Two Mini-Classics editions: "Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree", "Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day", and Volume 6 of "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh", "All's Well That Ends Well."

  • Oh, god! I'm trying to the 1989 WDMC version of "Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day", my #4 fav. film, because I'm trying to find out if it goes like this:

    Part 1:

    1. 1984 FBI warnings

    2. 1986 WDHV logo

    3. "The Little Mermaid" trailer (as seen on "Bambi", but with out the green preview logo)

    4. 1987 WDMC logo

    5. main titles

    Part 2:

    1. WDMC promo of "Mickey's Magical World"-"Winnie the Pooh and a Day For Eeyore".

  • My copy has no trailers on it. It was printed in 1991 though. The original might have it.

  • I'm definitly sure about it.

  • Did you mean "The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh"?

  • Yeah. Hey, have you gotten a message from me about both versions of DSAS: Happy Haunting made?

  • I was talking to Imaxination80, not you. And no, I never got your message about those two versions of "Happy Haunting Party at Disneyland".

  • Well, then I'll send it to you, again.

  • Imaxination80 I'm very impressed How many videos do you have alltogether and do you have any Cartoon Classics?

  • I have two Mini-Classics editions, and I am expecting about three Cartoon Classics editions in the mail. I just won them off of eBay along with 13 other Beta tapes. I'll post a video of those when they arrive.

  • Wow good for you!

  • What's with that Pinocchio video at 00:12? It has the Classics diamond with WDHV text!

  • That's the Preview/Sales tape, it was shown at demonstrations to promote the 1985 video release. I show it in a close-up later on in the video.

  • Can you show us the contents of that tape please?

  • I got to get the video capture card/unit first.

  • I know Rescuers Down Under came out on September 20, 1991, but my neighbor's w/vertical white label was early printing from August 27, 1991 & then on September 20, 1991 I know when it actually did come out, it had horizontal silk-screening.

  • Pity, I can't get British tapes. :(

  • I got mine off of eBay. Look up "Disney PAL VHS" and you may get results.

  • Oh. But I don't have a Multi DVD/VCR Player. I wish I do.

  • Do you know that vertical white label edition of Rescuers Down Under my neighbors up the street own?

  • What UK videos do you have (don't mention The Jungle Book 'cause I figured you have it)?

  • "The Jungle Book" is the only one I have. I'm trying to get "Song of the South" for my next UK video.
