It is very clear to the world today why Islam is being so heavily criticized -- a basic reading of the Quran should suffice.

i think many "beliefers" of all kinds of religion should be more open minded. Because right now the atheist are getting bashed, we are not allowed to complain about anything in there way of life without getting threatend but they ARE allowed to complain about ours. I'm from Holland and although I don't support Geert on all fronts, it has to be said, he is only busted by the media, he has a very broad support base amongst general population. The media is only focussing on his outspoken opinion on immigration, he does more then just that otherwise he couldn't be in the position he is in right now as politician. He is one of the few who keeps the people up to date on his political agenda outside election terms. The rest waits until they need our votes.

I love how they say Geert Wilders!! Lol. But he's not a lawmaker, he's just in the parlement. And his English is terrible, by the way. And he should do something about his hair.

pfff religion, so complicated...The thing with religion is that it calls for strong opinions and people try to force it upon you... as if god wants you to defend his faith and as if its the only path.
When will you believers finally just follow your belief and keep it to yourself when someone disagrees. Cant imagine that if there was a god he would desire anything more then a loving heart and a decent mind..i think if all paths lead to that god wouldnt mind that you dont pray or belief in him.

G. Wilders didn't fysically harm anyone. He has an opinion you (with many others) do'nt agree with. Other then that, all he did so far is insult people, but lets face it, who didn't?
I don't get why everyone is complaining, to me this seems like a perfect oppertunity for muslims to clear their name once and for all. The only thing muslims in the Netherlands have to do, is behave and live in peace, eventually by doing so they wil proof G. Wilders wrong and he wil automaticly lose votes.

I'm from Holland and although I don't support Geert on all fronts, it has to be said, he is only busted by the media, he has a very broad support base amongst general population. The media is only focussing on his outspoken opinion on immigration, he does more then just that otherwise he couldn't be in the position he is in right now as politician. He is one of the few who keeps the people up to date on his political agenda outside election terms. The rest waits until they need our votes.

Lawmaker? He's in Dutch parlement that's all. He's representing all the stupid people in Holland, shouldn't they be represented as well? As long as they are a minority it's no problem. I totally agree with the last guy, let him speak as long as people realize what he says. When you hear a lunatic in the streets talking dangerous you ignore him as well don't you?
