  • Nice video James - my Harpgear2 cost me 800 bucks and the British Customs charged me another 160 before it made it to my door. Meanwhile - the parcel delivery men had left it out in the raiin and the box was disintegrating at the bottom. Luckily it was well packed and inside a plastic bag and survived - get yourself a Lone Wolf harp delay pedal to go with it. Got a vintage element for my Mex bullet from a guy called Greenbullet - barks like a dog now!!

  • Good on ya James your vids always cheer me up here in the UK

  • sounds like shit!

  • @tenbarsteam How's come you little kids can't behave yourselve's?

  • the amp looks like a fender bassman guitar amp!

  • I was pleased there was no ringing on this video other than the few moments of feedback from the amp. Even though it is a cheap harp, the amp and mic milked some nice sustain out of it. You felt the POWER and your Hendrix comment was humorous. Nice Video. *****/*****

  • Haha, this is great, I've been looking for this theme done on harmonica. Nice job James!

  • The song is called "The Fishin' Hole", and there's actual lyrics to go along with it... Google the song and you will find it with Andy Griffith singing it. Great song! I've always enjoyed playing it on harp too!

Personally, I stay away from cheap harmonicas, and prefer the ones that play like butter!

Nice Harp amp you got there for sure!

  • The lifespan of ANY harp in my care is quite short, the ones I use for stage, anyway. I can break keys on a two week old marine band as easily as a two week old American ace. I recently purchased a Suzuki "Bluesmaster" in the key of B. Now all I gotta do is find someone that likes songs done in F, LOL!

  • That would be key of F# if playing a harp in B crossharp (2nd position). It happens, that's why us harp players need all the keys... then there's the minor harps and lower pitched harps.

It must be a boy scout thing... always be prepared!

  • I got a Low F and a high G, the full octave diff. comes in handy when I do Amazing Grace. If you have'nt already, check out "Victor wooten amazing grace" Good to hear from you, I hope all is well NTJ

  • Is hohner really worth 2.5$ in usa, or was it because you bought also the 850$ gear?

    It sounds good anyway!

  • It's part of the Hohner international line...made in china. Look up their web site, they should be under diatonics. They have them at May's Music here in butler. They come in several colors, yellows the only one thats ever left when I get there. It DOES sound good, and thats my point, It ain't the tools, it's the carpenter:)...NTJ

  • Great video, as always. All your videos seem very inspirational. Hope to see more.
