  • There will always be some yahoo saying she needs to do this or that or what not or that it isn't bad. Just understand she kicked YOUR ass doing them better than YOU and deal with it like a man. She doesn't need to improve anything until YOU have a video showing the PROPER form. Plus who cares what these work out...go your lazy asses out and DO them and find out for sure!!!

  • This works the abs because you have to keep that position it keeps the core region in a plank like position which is harder than just swinging your legs around less momentum is a higher degree of difficulty more control = more strength :)

  • it works the core, but sit ups are sposed to be a lower abb exersize. this doesnt work the lower abbs when the legs are at anything beneeth a 45 degree angle from the abbs thats working the lower abbs, i bed most of the weight here was held by her triceps holding onto that pad. just my guess anyways. ive tryed these and i didnt feel the burn in my lower abbs at all

  • First off, they're Bruce Lee ab exercises.

    Secondly, she's not even doing them properly... you're meant to arch your back and let your lets go as low as possible, then bring them back up.

  • @PRL1 Exactly, sure it also trains the lats and hip flexors but abs are definitely very involved, probably the core muscle being worked.

  • There's not much advantage to doing this kind of crunch. Sure, it may look impressive, but the muscles responsible for lifting your body up like that can be better targeted through traditional exercises such as pull ups and bench presses. This exercise also seems to have little sports specific value, ESPECIALLY in boxing.

  • Bench presses destroy your shoulders, losing flexibility and just because they increse the size of your chest means weaker shoulders. Try handstand push-ups instead, those will make you fitt!!!

  • I'm a doctor of exercise science. Bench presses DO NOT destroy your shoulders. The idea of "muscle bounding" - that big muscles reduce your flexibility, was proved to be a myth sometime in the late 1800s. Really, thats an OLD friggen myth. Its right up there with the idea that lifting weights makes you shorter or jacking off makes you lose testosterone.

  • yes that is true, bench presses do not destroy ur shoulders, unless you do them improperly, and big muscles don't reduce ur flexibility, unless you microload and don't stretch at all. however, calisthetic exercises are still better for your body all around. hindu push ups, handstand push ups, hindu squats, and pull ups. that's all I need right there.

  • benchpressing heavy weights all the time for a lifetime can destroy your shoulders, just like doing any heavy lifting all the time can destroy any joints that they work. you need to have proper periodization and cycling to get full benefits, and in no way does any form of weightlifting lower flexibility, unless you don't work through a full range of ROM. dumbbell press does, however increase flexibility more than barbell bench because of added ROM.

  • Didnt look good because your legs were not moving with your back, the legs went up first and then you lifted your back. It is a LOT harder to move as one, I cant.

  • Number one you have constructed a special bench which is not flat and has bars. Show me you doing it on a flat bench with no bars

  • ha ha both ways there not is really much of a difference except for grip all it is is a broken sit up bench anyone could construct on the floor and bamboo slipped inside, all I know is the intensity has no difference only the grip if that makes a difference.

  • greetings pr1 I posted me doing them as a matter of fact and yes the back does not touch legs should be tiny bit bent to save the back from strain and full Rom applied I think I did ok but of course I could improve u can check Dragon flag if u like

  • @Tom220678 for an average strong dude, its not tht hard. but for a woman, it is. I would say not very strong but strong enough. that woman in the video should cut down on lifting heavy and focus more on cardio. I tried it without bars and a decline bench. I could at most do 5 standard reps
