Sorry if this is a dumb question but I tried connecting a mouse to a USB port on the back of my Wii console and I got no response (no mouse action). What am I doing wrong? Are these codes intended to be entered into a Wii console? If so, how do you type the different characters? Is it possible with a Wii controller or must I connect a keyboard to one of the USB ports also?

For those of you asking how to put the codes in, you will need the following: Ocarina Cheat Code Manager, Gecko OS, and of course Homebrew Channel/browser. You can Google these to find out more details. There are also videos explaining how to use each one of them here on youtube. It's nothing too difficult to set up once you know how but through those apps, you will be able to use those codes.
