I don't think I will run that HERO crap, and I'm glad I don't have that HTC phone because it runs on top of ANDROID; It for sure slows down things, I just want the new ANDROID 2.0 and stick with that. I never like the addon crap, say AT&T , SPRINT etc.. adds theiur own stuff. Just leave the OS alone and let the user custom it.

well no more street view for google maps. thats (h) which is displayed in place of the 3g, i think theres something up with that. the browezer loads quicker when the 3g icon is availabe. there are some hero firmwares that have the 3g. i tried one and surprisingly the browser loaded faster. i"m now back to my jesus freak 1.5. i got tired of having a slow ass phone. i"m gona wait till all the bugs are fixed then i"ll probably think about reloading it

SENSE Touch UI fucktard ! BTW the info clearly says Haykuro from XDA-Devs took the Firmware build from the HTC Hero and ported it over to the T-Mobile G1

hi faggot, do you know what you are speaking about? the guy is speaking about htc hero the new phone coming out with the interface called "SENSE" stop reading forums and thinking you know what you are speaking about moron. And of course its cupcake, this g1 wasn't flashed into an other version it seems rooted. So he somehow got the software (UI) running on 1.5 also known as CUPCAKE update. and yes rooted phones already have htc hero interface running on g1 and its perfectly fine.

i really like the Android UI but i really LOVE the Touch Pro 2. Which one should I choose??? I know i can get Android on the TP2 but the G1 looks really nice. Although, i dont like how the G1 keyboard only takes up the left of the phone and is not centered when you slide it open.
