@wonderbreadkw Those are the factory rated power ratings for both cars. Both are at the crank, so factor in about 15% driveline loss to get the actual wheel numbers. Most Si's dyno in the low to mid 180s for whp. I would assume the Mustangs are around 175 whp. The major difference of course is the torque figures.
The Mustang was a 45th anniversary. 25th anniversary would be 1990 meaning it would have been a fox body and unless he was dead-nuts stock, you would have been pwned.
@TaLoCc No, I think I just had them down. We aren't allowed to run with any loose objects in the car so it just makes tech inspection faster if you leave everything easily visible for the inspectors. I was just lazy and didnt put the seats in the upright position after inspection :D I have removed the rear seats before for various reasons though and it isn't that hard to do if you wanted to drop 30-40 pounds on raceday.
I dont remember on that pass. I ran pretty consistent 15.2s though. My last pass at the end of summer I was hitting 15.0X the whole day couldnt break into the 14s. Next season Ill be mid 14s pretty easily.
I was using the neutral rev limiter, yes. If you just drop the clutch, you will get excessive wheel spin so you have to slip the clutch. There is a better launching point a little lower, like 4000 rpms or maybe less depending on how sticky or not the surface is. My 60 foot could be better for sure, but I was just playing with the car.
are your numbers from the crank or the wheels

Did you just launch it off the rev limiter? at like 4500?
How'd that work out for you? spin alot? wheel hop?
did you just slip the clutch or what?
