  • Oh boyyy! A certificate they printed from a computer! Did you get a raise with that certificate? I doubt it.

  • someone should invent a Caldor cheer

  • Hey, I watched the vid, and I also work at Wal-Mart as "Store Standers" (Buggy-boy) XD And I've been at 3155 for three years, and our store really never EVER does the cheer, I've done it like 3 times in 3 years, I'm not kidding. XD But anyways, we are hopein' to get a bigger store sometime in 2009, but if you ever see this store, its small, and not alot of us around.... GWAD I hate it lol! But you'll get used to it, and I was also wonderin' what area do you work in ? Lemme know, if you like.

  • Why are you whispering the whole time? I could barely hear you, turned my speakers all the way up, and then the next vid I watched blew me out of my chair.

  • Im terribly sorry that that would happen at Wal-Mart USA.

I'm not kidding when I say that WalMart Canada is different.

I've heard MANY stories about WalMart USA and HAVE watched "The high ost of low prices" and am horrified by what the company does in the US.

Come work for a Wal-Mart in Canada and get educated.

And that's MISS Pixie Pants to you.

  • Wal-Mart is really good to me... just fyi.

    ♥Nikki

  • Yes I was coerced into doing the Wal Mart cheer in Cartersville, GA. I still have nightmares.

PS I did aisle 4 stuff- tea, coffee, jam, salad dressings, croutons. Plus there was Little Debbie concession on the end of my aisle and the vendor had really bad farts. Stunk up my whole aisle.

  • That little Debbie vendor must of been sucking down the twinkis like a hover vacume.

As far as the cheer goes. Its not done any more at least where I work. And every time it is being done at meetings I just walk off and get back to work.

  • I'd do the Wal-Mart cheer if I worked there, just for the cheese-factor. I'm a dork too, but then you're a subscriber so I'm sure you've worked that out by now.

  • Well... the cheese-factor is what makes it so appealing.

Hell, I'd LEAD the fucking cheer if people would let me. lol

    ♥Nikki

  • i worked for walmart and i never did the cheer...it was gay

  • The cheer is lame.... but I do like Wal-Mart as a company.

Eventhough they make us do this stupid cheer.

    ♥Nikki

  • Never made me do it. They had the meetings said what they had to say. Then I just went back to work while they were regurgitating that annoying cheer.

  • Wal-Mart costs taxpayers billions of dollars because Wal-Mart fails to provide affordable health care to its workers. Fewer than half of Wal-Mart's workers are covered by the company's health care plan. Wal-Mart cost taxpayers an estimated $1.37 billion in 2005 in public health care and may cost taxpayers $9.1 billion from 2006 to 2011.

  • Uhhhhh, are these figures from the US or Canada?

Because I work at a Canadian Wal-Mart and my healthcare is covered.

  • yeah but here in canada the healthcare is covered by the government anyway

  • You have such a great voice and obviously a super personality! Go get yourself a degree or two! You'd make a wonderful teacher for elementary students!

  • Don't let walmart change your oil and filter. They damaged my suv, and then they refused to pay to fix it.

  • The company is so smart that workers are so stupid that the company,s plans is working!! Raises for Managements!! Good Job!!

  • Dont be a walmart hater. I am so sick of people complaining about walmart. Anyways I LOVE the video!!

  • you work at wal-mart and your making a vid about it? When I worked there I didn't tell anyone I worked for that low life store. Wal-mart workers are the lowest of the low.

  • I disagree WHOLEheartedly.

Wal-Mart workers are NOT the lowest of the low.

    ♥Nikki

  • At my store we had a 130% turn over rate. The only ones that really stayed there were the ones who were mentally challenged. I left and got a job at home depot they pay allot more and treat there people better. I wal-mart got to you and brain washed you hun :-(

  • They don't pay a living wage and they don't care about there workers. I have seen them make up reasons to fire people who have been with them 5-7 years just so they can save money. I hope one day you get out of that place. U look like a nice girl and they don't deserve you.

  • The CO of wal-mart came out and said a worker of 7 years is at more cost to there company then some one whos been there for 1 year yet the 7 year employe performs the same amount of work. It's to encourage mgrs to fire the older wal-mart workers. They also got rid of peoples jobs and forced them to take lower pay. My old department mgr in hba lost her job and was offered a cashier spot at less then half of what she was making. U should check out walmart watch . com

  • Oh! and I've been with Walmart for 5 years now (not to mention I'm only 20 yrs old) and I am one of the people at my store who has been there the least amount of time.

We just had one lady retire who had been there for 32 years. We have a bunch of people who have been there over 20 years. And a handful who have been there over 30!! so whatever it was that was happening in your store, CERTAINLY is not happening in mine.

  • oh and the only reason why I said there the lowest of the low was because you got to be down in the gutter to take the way that place is. It's like slave labor. I was forced to cover 5 departments most nights. They got pissed when it wasn't done. Oh yeah try living on that pay. When sam walton died evil took a hold of that CO.

  • Well, I'm sorry that your store was so horrible to you.

  • However, our stores here in Canada are amazing. I've had nothing but good things from Walmart. I have been encouraged to go into managerial postions...etc. I do not wish to be at Wal-Mart for a Career....but I do enjoy it as a job for while I'm figuring out what I want to do

  • Wal marts not amazing your laws in Canada are amazing and protect you alot.If you laws were like they are in the USA then wal mart would be treating you worse.

You work for a very bad company. You shouldn't do the wal-mart cheer.

  • I'm pretty sure you just don't get it. I'd love for you to come visit my Wal-Mart sometime.

    ♥Nikki

  • Maybe you health plan is better because of CAN laws.I had it. I was like the only one in the store who could afford the healthcare. Everyone else was sucking off the government for food stamps ect. I go to the doctors once in the 2 years I worked there. I get a bill for $120 and wal mart paid $30. In the united states they offer crap. They don't care about you.Don't be fooled. It's your country that's protecting you.

  • No thanks. I have not been back to wal mart since I left. I refuse to shop any place that treats there employes so bad. I remember my department mgr crying all the time because she could not pay her bills. i remember then tell her she had to work off the clock. i remember the lady who was in the department next to me getting fired for taking home a sample of suave.

  • Like I said.... my Wal-Mart is different.

I'm sorry you've had such a bad experience

  • The problem is it's corporates wal mart. They like to pretend it's your wal mart. It's really not. You should put you talent and skill in other places. Wal marts using you to grow so they can hurt people. Do you know in china they single handedly lowered the pay from 25 cents an hour to 20 cents an hour.

  • Sure they did.

    Ok... I'm tired of this.

    I'm not changing my views!

    I like Wal-Mart... I like my store...etc.

See ya! Thanks for the conversation!

    ♥Nikki

  • ok . I wish you the best. It was nice talking to you even though we seem to disagree. Your wal mart cheer is cute ;) Just to bad it's ummm wal mart. You're still young so I have hope for you. Anyways take care!

  • THE HIGH COST OF LOW PRICES.. watch it. They have the guy who was in charge of human rights at the wal mart factories. He was fired because he stuck up for the factory workers. He grew up thinking wal mart was the best. He said he thought they would do the right thing. they didn't

  • As for wages... sure I don't make millions...however, I'm not performing brain surgery. I get paid well enough. As well, every year we get a profit sharing cheque. This year it was $1000 after taxes! Free money just handed to us! Not to mention al the benefit plans they have for their associates. Like the health plan... how they match 15percent of the money you put in for stocks.... anyway, I'd go into more detail for you if you'd like.

  • My wal mart profit sharing check was only $49 for the 2 years I worked there. The first year nothing. Home depot is matching 100% of the stock I buy up to 3% of my paycheck after that 3% they match 50% for 2%.. I have them taking out 5% of what I make because it's such a good deal. Home depot offers health benefits for part timers. Wal mart took my health benefits away when I went to part time for college.

  • You know costco pays there workers $40.000 US a year. I don't know CAN money but to help you get what im saying av wal mart worker only makes $15,000 a year.

  • iwork at wal mart dc 6066 and i think you are the cutest thing ever.

  • sweet cheer.. ours is whose number 1 5834 customers rule in our store

  • i work at store 3589 and my cheer is "whose number 1? thirty-five eighty-nine working hard half the time."

  • i wish ours was that cool.

  • wow that is all i got to say

  • I'm a fool for Walmart!! I love Walmart!! Especially after watching and hearing that cheer! I never knew they had a cheer. Thanks for that!:) Good to see you again:)

    ~FWz~

  • love the Cheer! :o)
