I would say that "Einsturzende Neubauten is Stockhausen for Teenagers and Stockhausen is Einsturzende Neubauten for Adults"
Nevertheless i would never compare Rammstein (such a junk!!!) with E.N. I adore Einsturzende neubauten (for most of its work) and comparing them with Stockhausen was a compliment!
Blixa Bargeld looks like a mixture of Karlheinz Stockhausen and Klaus Kinski....crazy german romantics!!!
Profound words, though i would like to know what Blixa and Kinski should have in common.
Kinski was a bit too much over the top (also in German talk shows) though his master role is playing the weird head physician in a sex clinic for frustrated hysterical women in Billy Wilder´s "Buddy Buddy" (1981) with Jack Lemmon & Walter Matthau.
Blixa got more mature with age and is a real cool artist of sound now !
On the other hand Stockhausen was a bit too much over the top during his last years when he compared 9/11 to a great piece of art, which really goes to far.But a few years before his death at least he reconciled with all the experimental electronic pop musicians who were referring to him + acknowledged them somehow, though they did not sound really sound like him or play the same ! And Laibach should not need to deal with Rammstein anyway,maybe they wanted to correct their image !
