McSame's exact words in his acceptance speech, "We will increase the use of wind, tide, solar and natural gas. We will encourage the development and use of flex fuel, hybrid and electric automobiles." But in the Town Hall meeting in Warren MI on 07/18/08, he said, "I don't think we can rely on those to be as much of the solution as some people think." McSame is a hypocrite, a liar and a flip-flopper - all in one. Is this the kind of man you want in the White House?

The clean energy tax credit incentives included:

• extend the production tax credit for wind and geothermal energy for two years

• extend the investment tax credit for solar power for eight years

• extend the tax credit for efficiency measures in residences for six years

• extend the tax credit for efficiency measures in commercial buildings for five years

• create a consumer tax credit for the purchase of a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle for ten years.

Beckpod1, We most of our oil from the middle east. We get 10 from the Gulf and the rest (5%) from Canada. We get none from Alaska. all of that goes to Asia.

Here are some facts.

- On Dec 13, 2007, McCain opposed an effort to provide an extension for "the very clean energy tax credits" that failed 59-40. They needed one more vote for the needed 60 votes. McCain skipped the vote.

- He skipped a 6/21/07 vote that would have extended these "clean energy tax incentives". again
