  • Total Depeche Mode influence....I love it!!!

  • @thedatepro Check out Camouflage "The Great Commandment" and you will really be reminded of Depeche Mode :)

  • Why does this song remind me of Depeche Mode so much?

  • @lkennedy31 He said One of their influences was Depeche Mode,I always thought the same thing too. Not to mention his voice also sounds like Dave Gahan a bit

  • Now THIS takes me back to nights spent at the "teen" clubs in New Orleans

  • starts off just like bizarre love triangle and then sounds like dave gahan. obviously inspired by new order and depeche!

  • I absolutely LOVE this music!!!! Cause & Effect ROCKS!

  • One of the greatest songs ever made...pity he passed away

  • DEPECHE CLONE..... XD

  • epic song!

  • Vous pensez que vous connaissez son

  • Great band held in Sacramento

  • Back in the day, they always told me it was Cause & Effect, so I never thought it was DM. But it surely DOES sound like them.

  • nice song

  • yeaa

  • muerte al regeeton por siempre

  • cuidado te van a salir los mugrosos argentinos a defender el regueton ja ja ja ja

  • pa los que escuchan esa mierda de regeeton hay les va esto si era musica no hay comparacion con la basura de ahora

  • sounds like dave gahan

  • One of my favorite C&E songs.

  • Only 85,000 views? Wow. This song is effing dope, totally Depeche Mode inspired.

  • Me and my wife just about wore out this CD, really great band and WAY underappreciated!

  • los depeche mode de america jajaja

  • Depeche Mode was a real influence on alot of acts in the late 80's and early 90's

  • pense q cnataba el vocalista de depeche mode :o

  • I still have this CD, Long live cause and Effect!!!

  • if you wanna show your support all of you need to subscrib to C&E you tube channel, they are on facebook and myspace and twitter as well.

  • they were the tears for fears of the 90s

  • cause and effect made great music ,i think if people would have given them a chance they prolly would been as big as Tears for Fears

  • I bought the whole album just for this song.....ended up liking the rest of them.

  • Parecido a "Muevete" de Estados Alterados de 1989...

  • i also thought this song was by depeche mode and since 1992 tried to find this song (finally did through some random radio station on iTunes)...nice to find it almost 20 years later!

  • @rscnetbook

alot of people thought that. they have the same sound as Mode in the 80's

  • i see the resemblance, but NOBODY has michael hutchence's lips.

  • Oh, the nostalgia. I used to play this on cassette over and over when I was in elementary school. Thanks to my mom for buying it for me!! Haha.

  • For those who remember ..... this is all a traggic story

  • Comment removed

  • i thought it was depeche the first time i heard it a few years ago, this band is freakin' awesome

  • He looks like michael hutchence, sounds like dave gahan and dances like a hybrid of the two!

  • dlaczego juz nie ma takich klimatow,FAREWELL TO ARMS i love this song!

  • Very good group!

  • Kiedys (1992)sluchalem jako Depeche mode ;))))

  • well the rock band that DM turned after Violator make techno pop lovers very empty and dissapointed...the name is not important, its the music what matters. So for me this counts as one of the singles I liked the most on those years ^_^

  • this song has been in my head for the last couple of days! I love love love it♥

  • dj over kill houston tx dj hard curent are front line assault 1#ds of houston to this day

  • that one song The Great Commandment by the German band known as Camouflage was another song I thought was Depeche Mode the first few times I heard it.

  • @5kylord yes, another Depeche sound alike, and another favorite lol.

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE this song. one of my favorites.

  • Those of you that have stated they sound like a cross of New Order and Depeche Mode. Listen carefully to the beat and back beat of this song. It is the same beat and back beat at is in the New Order song: World (the Price of Love). :P It is just slightly slower in this song (in the main body of the song, not in the chorus)

  • I thought this was about me back when I was a runaway!

  • Uno de los temas q mas me gusta de esta banda!

  • THe voice is like DM and NO, exclude it, it can be Madonna or PSB too!!! This was the time!

  • Growing up in the 80's and 90's I have really great memories of awesome music and great friends. Music has always been my escape. And I believe there are some good bands coming out nowaddays but nothing like pre 90's. It is like listening to Elvis, Led Zeppelin,Rush and Black Sabbath (etc). I wasn't around then but it is still really great music to listen to. Great music stands the test of time no matter what your age.

  • @Jevy383383 I echo the sentiment... but to list rock in a cause & effect video is twisted. It makes sense in a Elvis, Led Zepplin, Rush and black sabbath etc... video. Besides rockers hate synth bands.

  • @Jevy383383 Have a listen to Yeasayer, The Naked and Famous and Black Tie Dynasty. Closest I have found to recreating the 80's we loved.

  • A lot of people think they sound like Depeche Mode, but they don't at all.

Cause and Effect are more electronic poppy. They sound more like New Order.

  • @joseitsme Honestly they're kind of a mix between New Order and DM. This song definitely sounds like DM though - it's not far off from Policy of Truth at all.

  • Really love this song and the extended mix of it. Also that whole album was good

  • hermosa cancion...soy fan de dm.tengo que decir que camouflage y cause and effect son su mejor legado.saludos!

  • it's too old this song! but I like!!

  • I used to dance this music in Juarez Mexico at tha time in SARAWAK disco ,in Juarez Av.....It was great!!!!!!!

  • I love it. Brings me back to the days when music was good.

  • One of my all time favorite songs! <3

  • Este es el mismo del Grupo INXS

  • I won their Exile Records, self-titled, autographed cd from MARS FM (Los Angeles). R.I.P. Rob Rowe.

  • Cuando escucho por ahi las porquerias de hoy a las que intentan llamar musica, miro al cielo y digo... GRACIAS MI DIOS TODOPODEROSO POR ESA BENDICION DE HABERME HECHO NACER EN LOS SETENTAAAA!!!!! y poder conocer a grupos como ICE HOUSE, INXS, DEPECHE MODE, SIMPLE MIND, PIXIES, JEAN LOVE JESEBEL, THE MISSION, THE CURE, CHARLIE PARKER. OTTIS REDDING, RAY CHARLES, JAMES BROWN, LOUIS ARMSTRONG..... THANKS MY GOD!!!!!

  • OMG haven't heard this in years...

  • I listen to everything under the sun and this is still a

    really good song!!

  • I have some really good memories from this album.

  • Молодцы, красиво спели и сыграли)

  • @NesquickAlena отличный

  • @NesquickAlena отличный

  • Que paja la musica y el video no está mal

  • his dancing looks like dave gahan's, but there's no rhyme or reason to it. it looks more like he's throwing himself back and forth to try and look like gahan, not like he's actually dancing to the music

  • warning warning every one zombie attack in norristown every one get out of norristown

i am on the road right now

  • I have loved this song since it came out, but this is the first time I have seen the video. The singer obviously is imitating Gahan. Trying to sound like DM as well, but most definitely not DM. DM is on a whole nother level.

"Another Minute" is quite a damn good album however. One of my fave non-DM albums of all time. Not every song is great, but all are good and some are excellent.

  • I remember when this first came out and thought it really was Depeche Mode hahaha

Depeche Mode translated in english means

    FAST FASHION

  • I love this song. I never knew the groups name. I took a chance and found this video. Thanks for sharing : )

just heard this last nite in a club. i felt like i was dancing on air...^_^ last time i heard this was when WLIR 92.7 was still around.

p.s. blaqk audio's stiff kittens reminds me of this song.

  • hmm, i'm liking this.

  • i prefer information society and depeche mode.

  • this is kinda like michael hutchence with DM. haha

  • @huzoso Hahahaha good point! :P

  • @huzoso Or a late Roland Orzabal from Tears for Fears. Anyway, a Depeche Mode clone band.

  • @huzoso That's not a bad thing at all lol

  • MrFantasma83

you forget about great "Soft Cell" too ;)

  • It s a Depeche Mode emulator band, but is a great band like Camouflage, Red Flag, De/Vision, Cetu javu, Celebrate the Nun, dr. Strangelove....and the amazings Depeche Mode too.-

  • Such fantastic high school memories!

Their first album is a classic. Can't say much about the follow-ups, but this one I keep coming back to over and over.

  • É um Depeche Mode genérico...

É legal mas sem novidade alguma !!!

    Brazil loves Depeche Mode too...

  • That cd...I still listen to it! Every song on it is excellent.

  • Cool song and cooler group!!!!

  • 1991? lol ... gawd this sounds 80s...

  • O vocalista tem a cara, cabelos e trejeitos do vocalista do Tears For Fears (1981). kkkk

  • Love this group!! Love them as much as Depeche Mode!!

  • like Depeche Mode

  • synthpop?

  • excellence!

  • I wore this tape out.Awesome band.

  • You think you know her

    But you never really

    Lived a life without her

    Though you couldnt tell me

    The things she said

    The books she read

The way she looked when the morning came

The time at night that you held her tight

But youll forget the day she run away

  • MAN!!! if a man would kiss me like this guy did to that lucky girl! OH MAN! I love this guys, I love their music and videos.

he first time I heard this song I could not tell the difference betwen Depeche Mode and this guys! And this Band is as good a DM. They are back singing and in concerts!!! check their web page!

  • i am right here..where are you

  • The whole album rocks!

  • Saw this band in 92 at the Roxy in L.A. Great show!

  • Great Voice! Great Song! Great Video!

  • Think from heart complication

  • Cool song my aunt likes it

  • I'll never forget these kind of amazing songs from an inspiring era! :D awsome

  • I bought a cassette single of this song when It first came out. I WORE that tape out lol. Good music

  • This song makes johnnyblackrain sad. Hold me.

  • suicide :((((

  • Lead singer is Rob Rowe and he's not dead. Sean Rowley is the other half, the guy who wrote all the music. He died before the concert in chicago. However it was not a suicide , it was a heart attack due to complications from his severe asthma. Pity, the guy had great musical talent.

  • he reminds me of michael hutchence. actually a combination of hutchence and dave gahan I should say

  • Yes!! Dave Gahan is the first thing that popped in my head when I saw this. Dances just like him.

  • that is for fucken sure. thats what i imediately thought

  • Thanks for adding this classic video I have not heard this video for years.

They were scheduled to perform in Chicago in the 90's I was looking foward to the concert then I got the bad news that the concert was canceled because of the death of the lead singer.

I think that Cause and effect was just as good as Depeche Mode.

  • I think that they sound like Camouflage

  • Timeless, greatness, hotness. Where are u now? We want more please.

  • Команда - СУПЕР !!! Вспоминаю молодость !

  • this came out in the early 90's

  • The good vocals are what sells this one. It's a must for any 80s collection.

  • I can tell you EVERYBODY thought this was Depeche Mode back then..I remember on tha radio ppl would call in requesting tha new DM single and even I was convinced it was them until they finally said their name..I bought tha"Another Minute" cd bout 6 years ago and its a good album tragic bout tha keyboard player also

  • @thuggin83 Its funny I remember a lot of Depeche fans back in the early 90s had wished Songs Of Faith & Devotion had sounded more like this song! .. Ha..

  • @thuggin83 I was one of the bozo's scouring Tower Records and The Music Warehouse trying like mad to find the new Depeche Mode Albumn or Single that I thought had been released after hearing this a few times on the radio. Back then the internet wasn't nearly as advanced as it is now so I had no way of researching it before driving all round trying to find that which did not exist. Great flashback hahaha.

  • @thuggin83 i never thought at the time that it was Depeche, but since you mentioned it...yeah very similar sound. Always loved the song anyway.

  • The keyboard player died a few months later (on November 12, 1992) after suffering a cardiac arrest at age 23.

  • Love Depeche Mode Love Cause and Effect Great Song!

  • Depeche Mode wanna be.

    But still good song.

  • Cause & Effect were a good sound for the radio and for the time as New Wave was dying..on the other hand Depeche Mode was a darker band with no love from the US radio stations..Depeche Mode earned their ranks because of the millions of fans around the world that put them in demand...I like Cause & Effect because they were from my hometown of Houston and New Wave sound was everywhere and there was no judgment on bands..it was all about music..

  • they are from Sacramento and the was a bunch of bands like them in the bay area in the early 90's.

  • I dont know why the radio would say Houstons own Cause & Effect..maybe they were from Houston and moved there..in the 80's there was really no music business here in Houston..hmmmmm

  • I don't think even the band ever denied they were deliberately copying Depeche Mode's style. Better than just doing a cover version, I guess. They sound more like Mode than Mode did at the time the single came out. :)

  • LOL it looks Like Dave Gahan(Lead DM singer) copied his hair style later in his career

  • i think you're right!

  • crees q la conoces.eso mismo me pregunto, causa y efecto años luz nos llevan, pero q bueno q nos dan su musica El Salvador siempre.

  • sounds like depeche mode

  • why is this video so hard to find??? i love the song!

  • I like this band.
