I went last year in July. I'm going back this year in September when the hotel rates are cheapest and it's still hot. Another plus - it won't be that crowded b/c the families with kids will be back home for school.

Just got home from Destin! It's got the best beaches. So fun to look at your video, takes me back. Thanks. If anyone gets the chance to go, do so..it's so beautful.

The beginning of your video, across from Capn Dave's...is where we stayed this past June, Beach Street Cottages. I loved this video because it shows what we saw everyday on our vacation!

Oh..and Whales Tail...is NOT good food, neither is Capn Dave's. I will say that The Back Porch IS good and so was The Black Pearl. Most places to eat in Destin are touristy without variety...but we loved Another Broken Egg in the Baytowne Wharf.
