We put in at Pruitt (water was too low upriver) and ended up at the confluence with the White River, taking out at Buffalo City upriver on the White River a half mile above the Buffalo River, for a total of just short of 110 miles.
I dont think you got 100 miles if you started at Ponca huh? If so, tell me how and where you ended up, I love this river. Been on it many times. Nice Smallmouth pretty much all along the river. I actually hunt this WMA around Hasty and south into Gene Rush WMA near Cave Creek. This type country is one reason why I moved to Arkansas.
For those that dont know, this untouched river is a national treasure. not to mention the Elk you might see grazing. Very nice vid and well done
Great wilderness and journey. My spare time is spent canoeing and wild camp living along British countryside waters. In nature, on the waters, great times. Regards.
Hundreds of places with fast water, though mostly riffles, and some are in tricky places with sweepers and strainers. I understand that the upper 30 miles or so have more technical stuff where the river is narrower, but it was closed to boating due to low water. You have to catch that section at the right time of year.
have you ever jumped off the cliff or saw the waterfall its awsome my family goes every year i love it!!!!!!!!
