Does anyone know how many watts the AM station and the FM were operating. As I understand it they were broadcasting slightly above the AM band, which is now the expanded AM band, which was not in use at the time, which would make them the only station operating. Plus AM signals will go massive distances over salt water. They must have been heard in several states at night. The FM not so much.

Interesting montage, this was before YouTube suspended their accounts due to copyright problems. I still have 2 strikes on my account. If I can get my third and final blow, I will go over to my backup channel which would be "WCPR1620AM", named after the first pirate radio station with Jon Doe and Perry Harris where the FCC pull the plug and it lasted a few weeks. It's time for a comeback.

Actually, they couldn't charge us with anything. The bust was illegal, they essentially bent the law to get RNI off the air. If you check my other clips you will see that all charges were eventually dropped for obvious reasons.
