The Malaysian government has long become a police state, as the former Prime Minister states. It quite ironic that it took him until he is no longer in office to speak the truth of nepotism, corruption and political power-play. Malaysians have been subjected to such intimidation that even discussion or questions on the haze or the API index can be construed as a "sensitive" issue. How did this come about? The slow are gradual erosion of individual rights to question the corrupt government.
