whenever i read/listen to his poetry,, i end up crying,,, not for him but for MYSELF. Why? because he tried to make a change,, dedicated his whole life to bringing about a change in society and nation,, bringing awareness among the masses,, though he and his family went through loads of hardships, but his conscience and honor were never for sale, and no dictator or politician were able to buy his soul. I cry, because iam not like him. I am nothing. And my being doesnt bring about any change.

last week i watch programe "Ik din geo k saath" with Habib Family and his wife told that Mian Nawaz Sharif came with 2500000 PKR and she return that cheq with saying "habib ney kaha tha k mery marney k baad buhat log aein ghey magger mery naam ko bhejna naheen ahi"
ITS THE BEST POEM EVER.........................!!!
When ever i listen this poem, i commemorate Long March of 2009...
