  • @Rudy083 Actually, the round ups are detrimental to the populations. While atrox is abundant, there numbers are slowly declining. Also, the round ups instill fear and hatred towards snakes while also giving false information a education. I HATE the roundups! Animal cruelty at its finest

  • Dude the round up clearly do not hurt the snake population so if the round up did not happen there would be and over population

  • Hi Orry, Nice video. I agree that Western Diamondbacks are not particularly agressive. In my experience with rattlesnakes across most of the USA where rattlesnakes are found is that Crotalus atrox is one of the least agressive. In most of my encounters with Western Diamondbacks they rarely bother to rattle. I am careful to approach slowly and I do not pester them;i just stand back and observe. Michael

  • @1949Sidewinder

    Hey Michael,

Thanks for watching the video and I am glad you have had the same experiences I have with atrox. They are easygoing as long as you mind you distance and treat them with respect. Keep on herping brother!!

  • Great vid! Very informatly. Just love snakes. Its a pity we dont have them here in sweden...

  • @zigenarjavel

Thanks for the compliments brother. I am sorry you do not get to herp as much as I do, but if you come to the states, we have plenty to go around.

  • Id be freaking out right now if I were him

  • @thebellatwins2011

    Rattlers are pretty awesome :)

  • @25thesnake He's such a handsome snake and that baby was sooooo cute! I was raised to fear rattlesnakes, but I never really have. They are really, really beautiful snakes! Great info too, btw. I'd forgoton they were live bearers!

  • @jaleely

Thanks for the compliments and thanks for watching :)

  • @xxSEALYTIGERxx

Haha, maybe not. Like I said, that could be true in certain areas, just not where I live in Texas. Thanks again for watching

  • @xxSEALYTIGERxx

Maybe that depends on where you live in Texas. I have close friends who have been bitten recently and years back and they both received anti-venom. I have never heard of Texas hospitals not administering anti-venom when it is needed. News to me. Thanks for watching buddy

  • you must have 3 nuts made of steel to get as close to snakes as you do.

  • @haloman9595

    Actually, I have eight :)

    Thanks for watching buddy

  • @gatorhunter92 haha that is so funny. but, really, i can't help but freak out whenever i see a snake like that.

  • @nathanimalable

haha. Thanks but when you have captured as many dbacks as I have, they do not really frighten you anymore. Now I just respect them to the highest degree.

  • Love the pics. What kind of camera you use for taking pictures.

  • that is a beutiful snake.

  • @scorpio0881

Yep, dbacks are gorgeous. Thanks for checking out my video brother

  • Awesome video man! Gotta love those rattlesnakes, always posing and putting on a show. =D

  • @herperphilip

That is why they are some of my favorite snakes because they really put on a show for the camera. They definitely do not have stage fright. Thanks for watching buddy
