easiest way to beat shao kahn is to rush him and read him. Chances are he'll do his ram or try to hammer you. Just keep jumping over him and combo him from behind. works all the time for me

you know this wont work right away. The reason this works is because after a certain amount of losses, Shao Kahn becomes stupider and spends more time taunting and just standing there. The game does this so people dont get super chocked and ditch the game... you did not find a loop hole, sorry.

This fight was seriously retarded :) . Beat him like you the same way. High Fireballs, kick to create space and also took the time limit into account. Scratch him a lil and waited out til the time killed him. But really....why the hell did the developers create a battle that cannot be won by normal means...fail.

thats no the way to beat him... this method is too long and cheap, jump behind him and uppercut him whenever he tries to throw a spear or the hummer, but you have to be very close to him and time the jumps to perfection.

@PystlPete there's a difference between challenged enemies that are rewarding to kill than just straight up unfair circumstances and bad ai that makes it unfun to play. This is a perfect example. It's not challenging at all because he gets too much dmg on his xray and his spamming. So if he's gonna be cheap you mine as well be too. don't try to figure out the strategy cuz odds are nobody will want to do it. just take the easy way out. that's what shao kahn appears to be doing.

guys easiest way on both shao kahn's (liu kangs and raidens) is to smack him down everytime he laughs or just stands there taunting you, after u hit him run away from him fast and then repeat till 90 seconds are gone, real easy.

how come everyone sucks dick at this game, Shoa Kahn is the easiest character to beat besides goro or Kintaro. All you have to do, on expert or any difficulty, is block his first strike, once you are close enough u just jump over him and combo thats it, hell try his lil up shoulder move but if you are close enough wen jumpin over him he will miss everytime. Too easy even on expert.
