  • Booooo. Somebody throw a boot and knock that whiney cat off the fence!

  • can't understand why some morons making negatives comments about the singing abilities of scheff and champlin...u can't compare their talents from the day this video was recorded than it was 20 yrs ago....the reason why they're are not as good than before? think morons...the answer is simple...AGE!...even Cetera today can't as good as he was before..

  • i was there..it was karaoke night at the dog and duck..great night thanks pete and thanks to the landlord for going on the organ for him..

  • brutal...Chicago needs to Peter Cetera.

  • Has anyone here heard Peter C. sing in the last 5 to 7 years. You'd be blasting him also. Can we say lower key change for the original singer of these great Chicago songs.....Ha ha ha ha!!!

  • YIKES!!!!

  • People have to understand singing the same song over and over u will have ur off night's/..plus singing the same song over and over you also wanna change it up sometimes..but I do agree this is the worst i heard bill sing ..but that man can still outsing most people in the planet..and I always said scheff is a better "studio" singer than he is live.

  • Chicago is one of my top 5 favs of all time...but I agree...the vocals are awful...they should not have released this. Why cant Peter do a reunion tour with the guys. I would travel to see that!!!!!!

  • @electricblueboi Well, see if you can contact Chicago's management and maybe they'll let you audition to join the band.

  • @drhey19 That would be awesome!

  • @GaryWayneBridges I'm a Chicago fan as far as I think there are some amazing talents who have come and gone, and still remain. I love Bill Champlin, as I mention, and Mr. Lamm. I think Scheff represents the beginning of the "Chicago Tribute Band" and losing Cetera was a tremendous blow. Champlin saved it for me (along with the horns of course) but when Danny was sacked Chicago transformed more into this current day Chicago - playing hotel bars & casinos.. that's their live act today :(

  • @electricblueboi I have seen Chicago 14 times (keep in mind I am only 19), but this is the only time I have heard a negative performance from them over the last 9 years. I also happen to be friends with Jason, Keith, and Tris, and they have sent solo work that is absolutely amazing. Go see them live - I think you'll change your mind!

  • @electricblueboi I agree, as a big Chicago fan this post proves the following, Scheff in his pursuit of Cetera's pitch compromises on his articulation and as a result comes out garbled and Yuck..Bill..Bill..relax mate..the pitch variants from the studio version really suck..yes, a very poor vocal showing here..

  • @electricblueboi So, you can be perfect, even on a "warm up" routine? you can sing 200 nights a year and not sound any different, well f@ck me, you are a musical god.

  • @ilovegoldenjade No, I'm not a performer... though I don't think that means I can't offer criticism. I apologize to those who took offense to my original comment, which I removed. It's just that I've seen both of these musicians perform this song SO much better than this particular session! Bill Champlin is amazing but I'm not into the post-Cetera Chicago. Cetera singing HHTB with his band is quite impressive live. I wish Champlin and Cetera would do a few shows together.

  • me encanta chicagoson muy buenos

  • The only good thing in this video is the beautiful Strat.

  • Heres the trick. U can convert this clip to an audio mp3 file at a website called everymp3rip daht cahm. (This wouldn't post here unless I misspelled daht cahm).

  • Come on people... they still sound great. Yes, it's not Cetera quality, but Chicago has always been a dynamic band that changed with the times. Personally, I really like Champlin's style, Jason's singing is different, but still great. Let's be grateful they're still playing after all these years!!

  • Imagine how this would have sounded with Peter Cetera and Terry Kath.

  • I love this song, but the voices was terrible...it was a bad day for they...or they had flu.

  • still chicago band for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
