Jon, you need to update your information. The 3GS now features non-destructive trimming, meaning two copies are saved. The edited, and the original.

on the iPhone 3GS you can even export movie clips to iPhoto or iMovie or even the direct download folder on the MAC. I

I evem took a couple of clips and edited them of Final Cut aswell...You can send it by email/MobileMe or even YouTube and MMS.

(I haven't tried to export on a PC's camera wizard so I'm not sure if one can)

if ur happy with at&t and have the extra money, i'd go with the iphone. however, if you want a change in networks, the palm pre is a great phone too, and almost completely matches up with the iphone. it might be a pain to switch from at&t to sprint though if ur still in a contract
