I actually love your interpretation of the song, and I do not think it "sucks". Whoever comments that it "sucks" should be posting a "video comment" with his interpretation of the song, sang and played by him/herself. It takes a ton of courage to go out in public and play and sing such a monster song your own way. Knowing that few people would understand you. It is easy to imitate, it is difficult to create, and you Dave did create something new. I applaud you for this.
