Like the guys on Brushfire Records, I only know Jack Johnson, Costa, Frankenreieter, Mason Jennings, G Love and Zach Gill but they all go unnoticed as mainstream artists. Frankenreiter has made a bunch of videos but doesn't seem to be that popular. Jack Johnson peaks from time to time but still doesn't get as much publicity as others.

Casual music listeners won't notice that he is playing two tracks of guitar on this song, and non casual listeners will at least hear the dual vocals. That's a muddy ground, and just a step away from dub tracks and backing bands IMO.
